Didn't Prime Time give himself the nickname of "Prime Time"?
Or was it Neon Deion?

I'm heart-broken...couldn't even watch the game last night because that message kept flashing at the bottom of the screen. I really liked his play, and thought he would have been a star for the Hoyas in the future.
I wish him well...

Can't get your feathers ruffled everytime somebody says something about the Hoyas that we don't like.
I'm just keeping the rice & gravy warm to serve with the 'crow' that the Hoyas will be cookin' up this season.

I wonder if Kenny Manigault is related to "The Goat"?
If so, we might want to start recruiting him too...

Their guards are worse than ours. They're very athletic, but our backcourt and forwards are starting to play a little better.
I wouldn't be surprised if we lost to them, but I have a feeling that the Hoyas hit their Free Throws down the stretch and pull this one out by 8.

My cousin actually use to be on the coaching staff of the JV team at Carolina in the 90's. They had some guys to get called up to the varsity squad. Clyde Lynn was one of them.
He was an OK player (My brother was better), but he does have a Final Four ring.

He played hard...I really appreciated that.
Glad the Hoyas have who they have. I really like Egerson's game. Would like to see him get more minutes.

Eddie Reddick - 72 Lamont Morgan - 83
I had the privilege of shooting ball with these two gentlemen on separate occassions...

you know why his turnovers are so high?
he's passing too much...
In the immortal words of AggyPryd's little brother, "You cain't turn the ball over if you're shooting."

Weren't they talking to the coach of TAM-CC on the JTII show last year during the tourney?
I think this guy runs a pretty good and respected program.
Disappointing for USF though.

Homecoming for Dajuan...He should BEAST.
It's time for our frontcourt to stop Bull$@#ing and start dominating. Our backcourt will follow Jeff and Roy's lead if Jeff and Roy would just decide to lead.

There was a very good article about a year or two ago where "Fang" Mitchell and Butch Beard remarked about how they have to repair their kids psyche(sp) for their MEAC schedule after playing such a murderous non-conference schedule. All of these schools, including the SWAC, play these types of schedules mostly for one reason...money...

Right - MJ's potential wasn't in question but he was never LeBron in HS either. He never had anyone patting him on the back until '91 - he worked at it his whole career. Jordan wasn't Lebron, but he was pretty darn good. There were many folks in my area that would follow the Bucs around the Mid-Eastern 4A Conference just to watch him play. He also had plenty of competition. Laney was the 2nd best school in the city of Wilmington. The city school, New Hanover, was a BEAST!!! Our school routinely loss by 40 to several schools in the conference...but they all knew that football season was coming...

BTW, wasn't Michael Jordan once cut from his high school team? And, Aggy, that's the same Pat Kennedy who coached at FSU, DePaul and Iona. yeah...but Laney had a BEAST of a squad that season...and I think he was just a sophomore... But he sure put on a show when he came to Jacksonville's gym in '81... Thanks for the info on P.K....
