10-3 remains to be the goal.
But ya gotta be 9-3 first, fellas. Take care of business (and take care of the ball).
70-something, land lubbers. 50-something, sea legs.

OK, the Goats got smacked by 23 against St. Johns, which would make them pretty awful. But they only lost to Villanova by 9, which would make them potentially decent. I'm a bit confused, but I'm gonna go with somewhere in between. While I would clearly be ecstatic if these predictions of doubling-up turned out correct, I don't think it's gonna happen. That said, facing the brick wall of Roy Hibbert, Navy's momentum coming off their royal smackdown of Washington College will mean jack. The debate then, isn't is the prediction a W, but by how much is the predicted W?
My Ouija board and the stars (it was new moon the other night, so that didn't help much) have failed me recently, so I'm turning to the unbeatable force of mathematics. My formula is this: (Rn-Rh) x 2 + Vap/2 = WM, where Rn and Rh are the respective district rankings of Navy and the Hoyas after the Fall Sailing (yup) season, Vap is the votes the Hoyas received in the most recent AP basketball rankings, and WM is winning margin. I chose 2 as the multiplier to make the world of sailing more relevant in the basketball universe, since a field goal is worth 2 points (unless it's worth 3, of course). So the formula turns out to be: (6-1) x 2 + 23/2. Since I went to the SFS, I needed a supercomputing mainframe to compute this brilliant formula, and finally I came up with this winning margin for the Hoyas (adjusted with proper rounding procedures): 22!
With that settled, here's the rock solid prediction (notice that we will score 69 or more):
Those who hear: 76 Those who yell: 54
Can anyone seriously debate my methods?

I blame any and all anomalies on the mainframe computer, which I used in lieu of any mathematical skills. Maybe rpipredictor hacked into the mainframe and brought down the shooting percentage predictor. I'll check on it.

I would guess another 5500 announced attendance with closer to 2500 at the game. I think we win by twenty.
