In that picture left to right: Cameron, Copeland, Peak, Agau ?, Mosely, Hayes, Johnson, Govan, White, Campbell, Mourning, ?, ?, Derrickson. Anybody who can help fill in the two ? and confirm Agau? Based on pictures online I don't recognize Mulmore or Pryor in here. BJ, ?, Pryor Hines

Really nice win. The Big East is not a quality league this year. Bulter beat Purdue, Vandy and WSU and only out of conference losses were to then #5 Ok St by 2 and LSU in OT. If Butler is worst team in BE it suggests that the bottom of the BE is stronger than many of the other top conferences. I think the strength of the BE is being way underrated this year.

With all the talk of how awful the BB&T is why doesn't Georgetown take the initiative to create a Philly Big 5 in DC. Instead of holding it at Verizon - you have it at the DC Armory (seats about 10,000). So instantly all games will have a great atmosphere. It's a 2 day event. 3 games a day.
Noon games are high school games - pick the anticipated best 4 teams in DMV.
Then you have us, ODU, UVA, Va. Tech, GW, VCU, George Mason. We can invite Maryland in, they are probably dying to be done with the BB&T and if they want in great - we'll play them but that bogus game we supposedly owe them is history. If they don't want in then you have two amazing days of basketball with lots of recruits watching and Maryland is no where to be seen.
Call it the DMV Classic or the Red Auerbach Classic. Should be pretty easy to get a big sponsor and even without Maryland selling 10,000 seats a day should be easy.
This would be an incredible event, which would be great for DC and hopefully would have the effect of keeping more of the local talent in the area.

Incredible how far the women's team has come. Never thought I would see a win over UT.

Don't mind going for it on 4th and inches even on your own side of the field but very odd to do it in shotgun formation. Great hold we are still right in this

Watching on channelsurfing.net also. That missed field goal was a real momentum shifter. I might have gone for it there - we were really moving the ball.

Roy is taking over - blocking shots and knocking down jumpers.

jersey, I deal with it almost daily from a good friend who is a Duke fan. To him, we're a third-tier program that hasn't done anything of relevance since Reagan was president. I remind him that despite the fact they won a natty, we thrashed them last season, regardless of what he and other Duke fans think of our program. Duke fans are so pathetic - they have a 9,000 seat arena on campus which their fans (especially their students) can't fill even when the team is very good - see link below. When Coach K is gone and the team is playing in the NIT, Duke's front running fans will be no where to be seen. Duke fans are like many Yankee fans - most of them disappear when things don't go perfectly for them. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3100960

It's kinda funny how Duke fans and Maryland fans think that their programs only offer scholarships to Mensa members and everyone who chooses not to go to their school doesn't have the grades.
I can't imagine how Sean Dockery got in to Duke - he must have written an amazing essay as part of his application.

lol at the duke board saying that they thought JTIII was "above" going after kids who had verbally committed to another school...like I'm sure Coach Rat wasn't in Austin Rivers' ear before he decommitted from FL. They have really short memories ripping on the gtown program after we took them apart last January. You can add Nate Lubick to that list as well.

Let me start some controversy by claiming that Sapp is for some reason the most overrated Hoya "legend" since Joey Brown. I don't hate Jesse and I think he was for one season at least a good player. But many Hoya fans shower him with praise that I don't feel is deserved. He wasn't all that great at ball-handling, shooting or passing which might be okay if you were like a 7'7 center. But Jesse was a guard. His defense was alright. His level of toughness is debatable. And most importantly during his senior season when the Hoyas NEEDED a senior who was a returning starter to step up his game, Jesse was M.I.A. Even before the alleged locker room incident Jesse was not getting it done for the team. Ultimately he lost his starting position (people can debate why this happened but regardless the fact is he did lose it). From all accounts Jesse was a good guy who represented GU well. And he graduated. And he is playing well over in Europe. Congrats to him. But if Jabril's coach is talking up Jabril that much I hope he shows us Hoya fans a lot more than having "some Jesse" in him. No offense to anyone out there who feel different. That's simply my take. Sorry for hijacking this thread. Have to disagree. Sapp's JR year he was the best guard on a team that won the BE regular season - the guy was also unbelievably clutch that year. He had 15 pts and 8 assists against UNC in the biggest win in the JTIII era. The guy had a horrible senior year but I would consider his overall career at Georgetown to be a huge success.

As far as the Sims theme song thing goes... I believe the original "ROY!" cheer/song was inspired by the Starbucks commercial. The only other memorable Starbucks commercial in that campaign just happened to feature a guy named "Hank"... I know he usually goes by "Henry" instead of "Hank", but maybe we could mix it up if he wants his own song: WINNER!!
