Tuesday's game vs. Missou is on ESPNU, not ESPN as indicated on guhoyas.com.

ok so UNC v. Illinois is on ESPN againt our game, so that makes sense since unc was top 10 and Illinois was top 15. but Clemson v. Michigan in on ESPN2. Really? two teams picked near the bottom of their leagues instead of two teams who were top 25 preseason? COME ON!
Interesting Note. Missouri plays Tomorrow. Against Us on tuesday then @ Oregon on Thursday.

Really? two teams picked near the bottom of their leagues instead of two teams who were top 25 preseason? COME ON! Hi. Welcome to reality. It's not about respect or how good the teams are. It's about the fact that ESPN wants the Big 10 - ACC Classic to broadcast, b/c it's good for their business and the Big 10 and ACC won't agree to play it without the guarantee of all of the games being on ESPN and ESPN2. So, yeah, I'm mad it's not on ESPN or ESPN2 also, but it has nothing to do with how good the teams are--it's all about the contract.

Really need to pick up that defensive intensity and maintain the entire game. And attack that press! Hope Chris doesn't have any lingering issues with his ankle - this will be his game. Bench will need to show up and give quality minutes, especially Markel so that Chris can get a breather every now and then.

One thing that is good is that Missouri has not played anyone to date. Best team they've played was Lasalle. We are much more tested than they are.
Once we break their press we need to punish it and look to score. As long as we don't make too many mistakes against the press I think we win.

Rich on the radio is still the best. The site is not important. Come March the Hoyas will be playing at some point in an unneutral neutral court, so this will be good preparation for them.
Go Hoyas!!! Beat the Tigers.

Do you think opposing coaches laugh when JTIII calls them up and asks to schedule a game like this? I'm sure for this game was JTIII searching out a non-"neutral" game...JTIII is the man in-season and off-season, his scheduling is GENIUS!

Saw a bit of Mizzou's game against Arkansas Pine Bluff. *knock on wood* But we have looked a lot more impressive than what I saw in the second half against Pine Bluff. The press did not look particularly terrifying. PB was able to beat the press long on multiple occasions leading to easy buckets. Mizzou looke pretty sloppy on offense, didn't really seem to have a plan, and there was a lot of standing around. I think we'll be able to get a lot of easy points off their press.

I watched a bit of Missouri's game today against the powerhouse that is the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions, who suited up only 8 players. I really wasn't too impressed with Mizzou, which isn't easy to pull off in a 28 point victory. Only truly outstanding part of their game that I saw was their three-point shooting (7 for 11 in this one). They coughed up 17 turnovers, got outrebounded on the offensive glass 13-8 (total REBs was 31-30 Mizzou) and led by all of 2 points at the half. All this against a now 0-6 team that lost by 43 points to a Stanford team that needed OT to beat DePaul.
Now, they were clearly going deep into their bench and trying to spread minutes around as much as possible in preparation for the game against us. And I'm sure that they were looking past this opponent (although I have no idea how you can possibly not be excited to play against someone named Savalance Townsend). But they definitely did not at any point look like #11 or 12 team in the country out there.
