Ebanks

The recent New York magazine preview of the Big East breaks it down perfectly. nymag.com/daily/sports/2009/12/your_big_east_conference_previ.htmlWe might get burned on this one. The Mountaineers have two projected first-round draft picks — Devin Ebanks and Da'Sean Butler — which is nice to have, but they also need them at every game. Which is a problem, since Ebanks sometimes has to go away for a little while. sounds mysterious that he has to go away. Hope it happens when we play them. -M

the only thing i remember from quick pita delivery was that some how a 5 dollar order ended up being 20 dollars on delivery, as calculating tip when drunk became quite difficult.... and yes still 338-pita (well at least since 2002, last time i lived in the gtown area... )...
now only if wisemiller delivered to bethesda...

it makes even it more sad that barker davis will be gone soon. No love from wapost and therefore will be no real local coverage of the best local team. -m

only reason i check the wtimes website is barker. much better the wapost coverage, but for everything else wapost is better. I would pay if they charged for online access. I don't have a print subscription, as I wouldn't have time to read a physical copy (but damn do i miss the feel of reading a real newspaper).

Yeah, but I guess the problem I have with the #5 vs. "some have forgotten / respect is back" comparison is that "some have forgotten / respect is back" seemed, both at the time and after, kind of, well, Jedi, and the tone and voice of #5 seems kind of, well, Sith.[/quote]
very much agree... has a very dark overtone to it.
nothing really stood out.. but i like the georgetown reference on 4#, seems in keeping with the spirit of georgetown unity and once a hoya always a hoya, no matter what the result of a point,a game, a season, etc...
the father hoya quote was a little too obscure for me. -M

This thread is far too focused on Ray's an not on any of my approved off-season discussion topics: 1) Non-National Fast Food Chains (Roy Rogers/Sonic) 2) Wegman's 3) Politics 4) Facilities (and lack thereof) 5) Recruiting 6) Incredibly inaccurate predictions 7) Rehashing other, older, and better threads back before HoyaTalk jumped the shark I will get really excited when the have an in n out on the east coast.... mmmm animal style...
