the man also has great taste - tonight I saw him also enjoying a fine meal at Ray's the Steaks in Courthouse (North Arlington).
the place offers amazing hunks of beef at very reasonable prices, plus mash potatoes and creamed spinach are free! no 5-10 bucks extra for each here...
if you haven't tried the place and are local, you're missing out.

I saw Eshrick at a Roy Rogers on the New Jersey Turnpike. Thumbs up! Still recovering from the closing of almost all Roy's in the DC area.

Ray's is fantastic (and no, I have no affiliation with them).
Pregame meal for the pep rally that capped off NSO weekend last night?

Heard great things about Ray's the Steaks, definitely need to go. I thought they didn't take reservations? Heard that place gets crazy busy.

I'm a huge Ray's fan and no I don't profit from this plug. the number to call for reservations is 703-841-7297 and yes this number is in my cell phone. they just started taking reservations about 4-5months ago and you can select a dinner time up to two weeks in advance. Last night I challenged the 26oz cowboy steak and it kicked my ass. i feel ashamed.

Speaking of turnpike fine dining, anyone travelling the mid-Atlantic corridor for Hoyas games or other purposes should be aware that the Delaware House closes this week or next for long over-due renovations, to re-open next spring/summer.

Reservation tip: they sometimes will open a few tables the same day - if you call at 2:00 you can sometimes snag one (that's what we did last Tuesday).

That link is golden. If only there were a way to turn that into my avatar. That's easy. Just Photoshop it to a gif or jpeg and post it online somewhere so you can link it. (Copyright? Authorization? Ownership? Never heard of those things....) BTW, did anyone check to see if JTIII was wearing the requisite uniform? Did he have his BFFs on?

They're coming back actually. www.royrogersrestaurants.com/#/findroysJust went to one in Alexandria recently. Fried chicken is still light years better than KFC.
