With our offense, I wouldn't expect a GU player to win too often - we're not selfish enough. It'd probably be a bad sign - e.g. Jeff having to take over against Illini, 2nd half.

someone on wash pulled a bowman We had the game on here. Hernandez on Stanford had a mediocre look at a 3 on a nicely designed inbounds play, kid from UW (Dentmon, freshman) ran in front and reached in as he was going up for the shot. Hernandez sold it a bit, but it was a legit foul. Nothing like the kick-out-the-leg flop called on Bowman. Dentmon did not play in OT.

Hoyas currently top "ESPNews Headline," with logo, above other 3 BE final scores. Copy reads: Hoyas Dare Annoy Ya - Georgetown's execution of the Princeton offense, not to mention tough D, proved too much for visiting Cincinnati, 76-57. (Story is same link Dan has) Link to photos

I think that's about right.
This week is when we find out if we're top-25 (or top-15, if you believe Kornheiser).

I think you mean 217 . . . SFS, per chance? Edited to add: Nevada with the faster trigger finger!

Okay, but the only version of the ending I've got is from Sportscenter: Rich loses it Link

Okay, no Sportscenter yet (and we've probably all seen it by now), but I did extract 2 1st half clips from the game: Packer "... up against an opponent that thinks they can beat 'em." LinkWallace spin LinkHad to shrink 'em quite a bit. Someone let me know if these work.

I'll try, no promises. I tried to video capture the game, but the recorder hung up halfway through the 2nd half.

Frank Black: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! SFHoya99: Germans? Aggypryd: Forget it, he's rolling. Frank Black: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the going gets tough . . . the tough get going. Who's with me? Let's Go! Come on! AAAAEEEEEGGGHHHH!!
SFHoya99: Frank Black's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons. But that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part. Frank Black: We're just the guys to do it.

Hey -- now that I've started to come off of my high, I have a question for those sitting near the Duke basket in the 2nd half. With about a minute left ( I think) in the game, Dockery made a 2 point jumper for Duke. There was an instant replay on the floor -- what was up with that? It was indeed to confirm that it was a 2 rather than a 3, as per Verne and Billy. Dockery actually had both feet behind the line before stepping about 6" past on the lean-in.
