During a loose ball he deliberately tripped Delgado of Seton Hall then as the ball went up floor and no refs around. Stomped on Delgado chest and hand. The refs looked at it and only assessed a flagrant foul because I don't think they saw the 2nd part because they made the decision to before the truck showed it to the live telecast. Finally found a decent look at the play. https://vine.co/v/OdiinL9Il2BYeah, that was dirty.

Both went to Carroll, but not sure of the other one. Both have won National Championships once. Lonergan won the NCAA Division III National Championship at the Catholic University of America in 2001. Oh. I was going to say "Who are two people who've never been in my kitchen?"

Kentucky leads UCLA 41-7 at the half. Wildcats missed one of their extra points. They'll probably just run it up the middle the whole second half. Wait, that's a basketball game?

Found some clips for that Pitt game sitting on an old server. Crappy quality, but who cares.
One forgets just how alive the Verizon Center can become when the Hoyas are rolling.

In Defensive Win Shares - I think that's what you meant anyway. So I went to look at the link and Hopkins ranks 1st on the team in Def. Win Shares, but 13th in Off. Win Shares (ahead of only David Allen and Trey Mourning) despite having the 4th most minutes. Meh, I'm not much of a fan of Win Shares so whatever. Having said that, because of his defense I think you've just got to hope Hopkins finally figures out that he's got to be the last option on offense whenever he's on the floor. Stop trying to be senior-year Hank Sims, instead try for senior year Ya-Ya Dia or Victor Shomnick. Would you rather have this season of Hopkins or another season of Lubick? I'll take Hopkins.

That said, I say ban him. Aren't we supposed to see if he floats first?

I for one think that at times you can hide behind offensive ineptness by slowing down the pace, limiting the possessions and making your numbers technically more efficient. I don't think efficiency means what you think it means.

Honestly I would take freshman Josh in a second so freshman shape, senior game would be incredible. It's worth noting that, at least once before, Smith dropped a ton of weight over the summer - going into his freshman year at UCLA: - LA Times, Oct. 2010

I think it's just the Brazilian defense . . . that went up in flames.
Thank you, thank you. Be sure to tip your waitress.

I do not believe that the Bowen comparison is appropriate. Josh is already an elite defender and would come in as the best defending guard that we have had since AI. As Rayshawn Reed's only fan, I take exception to that statement.

Jessie Sapp could do this:
I'm sorry but I just can't see Jabril making that play.
(And I don't think anyone on the team would have been able to make PE Jr's play. Whittington was the only one close.)

Maybe there is more somewhere else on this board, but all I know is that Casual tweeted yesterday that Josh was in a walking boot. But that can mean a lot of different things.

I would bet everything I have on ND losing at Marquette. I hope I'm wrong. You know, the funny thing is that, up until two games ago, I'd agree with you. But the last two games for the Irish have been their best two of the season, as they finally are playing defense (they're also running the burn offense - 55 possessions in each of the last two). Whatever happened after that technical against Pitt is working. Be very curious if they can keep it up at Marquette (best offense in the Big East, by my math).

Statsheet has us at 1107 points allowed on opponent 1040 FGA, 282 TO, 325 FTA. Using FGA + TO + .44 * FTA = 1465 possesions, I get 75.6. You're not going apples to apples for the <4s PPP if you're adjusting for OR, which I assume your overall PPP is. Ohhhh. PPP = points per play, not points per possession Got it.
