From a legal perspective, do you go after the families that accepted the money for tax evasion?

Has to mean the death penalty and Pitino getting a lifetime ban from coaching.

Unsure what to think of this. If on one hand he was our top PG prospect and NU outrecruited us in our backyard then I am baffled as to how we let that happen. However, if the staff weren't as high on him as the fans and we kind of slowplayed him then I hope we have other targets we are voraciously targeting.

Hope we hear positive news soon from either him or Fleming. Think Phillips is a low-key stud who is way under the radar because he doesn't play on the shoe circuit. Could potentially be a program changing player if we get him. That is how high his ceiling is. Full court press please.

Really want this kid. Seems like we have a good chance and that he really likes the idea of playing for Ewing. Stay on him hard Coaches and bring him to the hilltop!!!

Honestly, with the way people talk about our recruiting you would think we are Depaul. Sure the last 2 seasons have been terrible, but before that Georgetown was still a bona fide annually ranked program every year. If we can't beat out Nebraska for a local point guard in our backyard that we want then I am unsure where we go from here. Now, it seems to be a little ambiguous as to whether or not we are recruiting XJ hard, but if we are then we need to close the deal. Would allow us to focus on Leblanc, Fleming, and Phillips.

I see a lot of Paul White in this fellas game! Paul definitely the better passer from what I have seen, but Grayson might be the better athlete. Should be the perfect stretch 4 in an NBA spread the floor offense.

Inexcusable really. What is the logic behind this? Our SOS will be dreadful, and now the boys will surely need to go 10-8, maybe 11-7, at a minimum to be in contention to make the NCAA's. If we played mostly teams in the 100's then we would have that extra game or two as insurance. This team has talent, unsure why we are hiding from challenges.....

Hoping we are turning the full court press on this young man. Kid will be a stud, and more importantly, a 3-4 year stud rather than a 1-and-done. Ewing should be able to lay out the best development plan for him compared to other coaches. Would like to see us be able to close another top-50 kid and think he's our best bet.

Idk if recruiting really isn't his thing. He's just saying he'd rather capitalize on his experiences as a player by talking directly with recruits and laying out a plan rather than ass-kissing the handlers that are involved nowadays. This might be a bad strategy, but who should the kid trust when it comes to listening to what's best for him to develop? A top 50 HOF player of all time or a handler/AAU coach who has probably never sniffed high level Div 1 ball let alone the NBA. Seems like a good plan in my book for a majority of prospects. We don't want the ones who have baggage attached to them anyway

When looking at other teams' OOC schedules it seems like more and more teams are getting their marquee games from tournaments with maybe, maybe 1 more big name opponent. Very few coaches take the JTIII approach and schedule 2-3 big time OOC games with a few more P5 + AAC opponents to keep the SOS really high OOC. I think the frustrating thing for us fans is that without the NIKE tournament we are very limited in scheduling P5 teams, never mind the big time OOC games that we've all grown to love over the last decade. If Ewing is only scheduling terrible MM's than we have an issue, regardless of the wins we can stack up. I (and most fans) are unexcited by Alabama A&M, but if you gave me some games vs. G Tech, Ole Miss, Texas Tech then at least I'm pretty excited to sit and watch our squad play ball for 2 hours against a nationally known university.

I mean if you look at '19 I am unsure if there really is any room for both of them. Looking at some public info (Cuse Insider, Stewart's interviews), Stewart is ours to lose.
Edited. Please avoid eligibility issues and rumors about prospects offline-- Admin

I think everyone here is tending to underestimate Walker as he has been committed for quite some time now and we didn't hear much about his time @hargrave. Have a cousin who played AAU with him and said he is an absolute animal. Just needs to bulk up and I think he can be a very, very good 4 year player for us. Think Dajuan Summers lite

Trying to follow our 2018 boys, but with all the offers out there it has gotten a little muddied. Can anyone give the board a run down on who our top targets are? And who they think we could be landing, given it will be a 4-5 person class.

Honestly, if we want anything to come of this season then I think we need to nab this kid. We are screaming for a scoring wing to come in.

Funny how quickly Creighton fans are being put back into their place after sitting on their perch after one decent season. Remember them ridiculing Gtown after JTIII got fired. Would love to snag one of their shooting guards recruits, both top 100 kids, if they back out.

If McDermott jumps ship to OSU then lets get on some of those shooting guards he managed to pull if they back out of their commitments.
