God damn, Dickerson and Mulmore need to get their heads out of their asses and play the lead guard position with at least some semblance of intelligence. Our team looks great sans those 2 guys. Love what Juggy is giving us. We need to win the first 5 minutes. Think if we hit 65 then we coast to a victory.

Please never play Mulmore another minute. Baffling how he gets minutes

If we could just cut down on the $hit TOs and get 7-10 more shots up, we would be tough to beat. Our D is a pleasant surprise this year. How were our rotations so terrible with almost the same group last year?

We've missed a couple bunnies that could have us up by 10+ right now. Still way to many horrendous and self-inflicted turnovers. Can't believe our point guards still turn the ball over in the fashion they do consistently.

Tough to judge as honestly, I can't imagine the kids got up for this game. The schedule is painfully bad, and one would have to believe that impacts the players as well. Waiting for Cuse to decide if we are a quality team or not. Orange hung tough with Kansas, and if it weren't for Grahm going off at the end of the first half, the game would have been even until the 5 minute mark of the 2nd half.

Hope we can at least reach out and check in if Ewing and Co. like what they see on the tape.

Damn, Myles Powell had one of the most dominant final 10 minutes of a game I've seen in quite some time. Maybe Porter @cuse. Went on a 8-0 run himself to ice the game with a deep 3 followed up by a steal and And1 lay-in. Would recommend checking it out. Think the Hall will put it together and could be a sweet 16/elite 8 type of squad this year if Powell is actually as good a player as he's shown so far. Good for Willard as well, funny how hot his seat was 3 years ago...

Just curious people's thoughts on the remaining 2 open slots for '18. Who do you want/think we go after? At this point, I would think a combo guard and a 2/3 shooting wing would help spread the roster out and fill more needs than a big man. But I am not familiar with us recruiting anyone in that mold. So, any clues out there to what Ewing and staff will do or who we are active with?

Really want him. All the intangibles point toward us, but logic sometimes doesn't equate to an 18 year old's decision. FIngers crossed. But why in your right mind, as a @ucking big man, would you choose to play for Avery Johnson over Patrick Editeding EWING!!!!! Come on down

I like Fleming next as he keeps retweeting all Hoya related things and then after that I think Ewing holds off until the Spring for a guard or 2

From HoyaReport: "Mourning out for the year, will be eligible to play next year." Also, says it's a groin issue and not hip. Unsure if that would change recruiting going forward. Would still like Fleming, but Mourning should be able to give really nice minutes next year in a 4 out/up tempo offense.

I know Zo mentioned Trey's hip surgery. Can anyone with some insider knowledge/insight into the program attest to whether or not Trey redshirting has ever come up? Wouldn't make much sense to me to burn his last year if he can only play for half/part of the season. Perhaps he is tired of schooling, but a Masters from Georgetown never seems like a bad career move to make so maybe there could be some stock in that train of thought. blueandgray

Pretty confident when I say this; McClung will be a Hoya. Vault me on this. Would be a nice pick-up and has a chance to develop into a very good guard. I haven't seen him play but seems to be in the mold of a couple of those under the radar Philly/East coast guards that Nova has sneakily pulled in the last couple of years in DiVencenzo and Gillespie.

Using context clues, you have to like our chances with Fleming. Unless he's being a total tease then I would surmise he is ours. Would give us a great 4 & 5 in the 18 class and allow us to move onto guards and wings.

We should take both since I don't think there is much overlap in their games. Had to click on the tweet to to see it, but it says he isn't announcing tonight and he's down to SMU, Ark, and Fresno St. That could imply that what was said about Leblanc is correct because it would be odd for him to have eliminated Georgetown right after his OV and include SMU, a school he hasn't visited.

Well, this is a fantastic turn of events. Can't see Fleming committing to a school who will be under FBI investigation. Hope they go after LSU/Arkansas and the rest of the $EC next. We would be well positioned with Leblanc and Phillips if that is the case. Can't say I'm shocked. $EC schools have almost no redeeming qualities basketball-wise and within the last couple years even the irrelevant programs have been pulling in 4* and 5* recruits

Not 2018. Would be nice to see if we could pick-up VJ King from UL. I know he was interested in us last time around

From a legal perspective, do you go after the families that accepted the money for tax evasion? Unless the family somehow found a way to report the 100k then it's definitely possible. But if their family is anything like the majority of families college basketball players come from, something just feels wrong to go after them when its quite likely Pitino and his cronies economically exploited them to get their son to commit. Agreed I don't like it. And the transfer of funds could have been misrepresented, but it seems strange to let them off the hook for clearly doing something to try and maximize the potential return for their child being a good athlete.
