We got our fair share of weak charge calls called against us too (Freeman and Clark on perimeter)

More importantly, for those who were at the game: Do they now Capital One cash giveaway, instead of Chevy Chase? And if so, did those kids already have a huge Capital One card made up and win, yet again?

Somewhat related, I just got the email for the weekend ticket package, but the ticketmaster link isn't working. Anyone else experiencing the same? MOD Note: the ticket office tells me they are experiencing intermittent technical difficulties but that this link:
guhoyas.com/buytickets
should always work.

Is this all still very hypothetical?? Or is there info out there that I haven't seen that Adams will be a Hoya?

Can anyone speak to the importance/role of an asst. once a student gets to campus? It seems like an asst. is a (if not the main) major factor in recruitment, but I guess I don't necessarily understand why if the kid will be playing for the head coach once they get there. I mean, why is Jordan goodman so committed to cox? Is that more a dc assault thing? not that I'm really concerned or anything, just curious.

The Terps Insider/Washington Post is reporting that Moses has chosen the [Mountain]top. Note this is unconfirmed and coming from the same guy who peddled the GU/UMD angle a week or so ago. twitter.com/TerpsInsiderhilltop?

Wasn't Georgetown 6-2 or so against Reynolds led Villanova teams? If your definition of the Georgetown choke era includes a Final Four appearance, two BE regular season titles, one BE Tourney title and three BE Final appearances, sign me up for a choke era every 4 years! The point is that it is ridiculous to get on Scottie Reynolds and Grevious when we all we've done is choke 3 years in a row. We've been an unbelievable disappointment for 3 years, and no one is going to convince me otherwise. I will get over it soon, and be excited about next year. But, right now, this stings. Every one got on me and others when we wanted to compare this team to last year, saying that we were inexperienced and in turmoil, but the choke continues....3 years running. Scottie took his team to the Final Four, no one on this team has even won a tournament game, unless you count the 2 minutes Chris played in 2008. rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/boxscore?gid=200803210229

I only needed to watch the 2nd half of the Tennessee-Kentucky SEC tourney game to come away with a greater appreciation for our team and coach. After the game, which included a number of fights and cheap shots, Calipari basically said "well, they're just kids..."

Will it be the same officiating crew? It'd be good for Monroe and Vaughn to know what they can/can't do on screens. Although it seemed like Hayward pretty much got away with the same thing at the end of the MU/SJU game.

What do you think is the threshold for metro to close? I know they shut down its outside tracks at some point during the last storm.

After seeing UConn play duke and kentucky, I don't see how they're better than us. Their frontcourt is pretty suspect and they can't shoot from outside. Add in Stanley robinson's inconsistency, I think that puts them in the middle of the pack.

this is all about filling that dump they play in for every home game. i can't wait to see him wet himself when a 280 lb d-lineman breathes on him. I'm guessing his bball instincts will take over and he'll just flop.

more smiling... and this team wins. better defense and rebounding wouldn't hurt either.

Roscoe would like to cut his list to 5 after the summer and take all of his official visits to those schools. He has been on one unofficial to Georgetown, where he said, "I had a good time. We ate and that's about it." He wouldn't give us a list, stating everybody is equal at this moment. hopefully the New South cafeteria (or wherever it is now), is better than it was in my days (with the exception of chicken tender day)...
