This should be shown to all big men recruits - it shows career NBA earnings of Georgetown's big men through the 2016-17 season: Mourning | $ 143.9 million | Mutombo | 143.7 million | Ewing | 119.9 million | Hibbert | 70.7 million | Monroe | 70.0 million | Green | 65.3 million | Williams (JYD) | 51.1 million | Harrington | 24.2 million | Reid (!) | 6.1 million |
Disappointed that Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje was left off this list. Side note: was anyone else at Georgetown at the same time as RBB, and do the automated voice phone directory for his name? It was pretty hilarious how it butchered the last name.

Any secret scrimmages on deck that we know about?

“Tremont Waters is a skilled lead guard who is an equipped scorer, but also a talented distributor,” said Evan Daniels of Scout.com. “He’s quick, a good ball handler and a high-level shot maker from distance.” “He’ll make everyone on the floor better,” Todd Quarles of the Expressions Elite AAU program said by phone. “Because you have to guard him in a particular way, he opens up the floor for everybody. “I think his IQ and his skillset is second to none. I think he sees plays develops two and three steps — and passes — ahead of what most people can. His ball-handling and shooting and passing are phenomenal. And he’s able to get to places on the floor with his excellent footwork that most people can’t get to, to turn the corner. And he just opens up the floor for so many people.” Defensively, Waters is also a force. “He’s able to really get up on people with his excellent footwork and hand speed. He’s got great eye-hand coordination. He can really defend and really pester the ball when he wants to.” www.zagsblog.com/2016/10/19/tremont-waters-georgetown/What's his comp, style wise if not talent wise?

Wasn't he accepted to the law school back when he graduated? I wonder if he's starting that as well

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but what is Hayes up to this summer?

That nugget about Hollis making the most appearances for the Sixers the last few years is amazing. Shows you how solid he is, but also how much of a sh*t show the Sixers are.

Recruiting JUCO's used to be something that helped elevate our squads. Can't remember the last time we landed a JUCO. In fact can't remember a top program using JUCO's but I don't follow recruiting as much these days. Seems very SEC mid standingsish. LEE SCRUGGS!!!!!!!

Plenty of spots open for next season now @ Ohio State.. We'll see how it shakes out as far as JM is concerned.. I always wonder why a recruit with options would go to a school who's in the midst of a mass exodus of players transferring like Ohio State, NC St., or USC are currently having or like Louisville had last year. One transfer per year per program has unfortunately become the norm. Two transfers in this college basketball climate can be explained and isn't too shocking but when you have 3, 4, 5 plus transfers in a season, as a recruit, you think it would remove a school with that many kids leaving from consideration. I'm not talking about situations that involve a coaching change and the coach who recruited you is no longer on campus. I'm not talking about 5th year free agents as that is a given right that by rule they can explore but when you have freshmen and sophomores leaving, as a prospect considering that school you would have to ask why? You know what the coaching staff is telling you is the same things he told those players who running away from or being pushed out the door of the program just a year or two ago. How could you trust the coach to be honest with you. I'm not saying the coaches flat out lied to the kids leaving. I'm also not saying the coach didn't just flat out lie and the kids entered school with unrealistic expectations. It's probably 65/35 that the coaches lied especially if the players who's now transferring was heavily recruited by several schools before committing to the schools they are now leaving. I know kids always think it won't be me, but if a coach is turning over 25-40% of his roster from transfers as he is recruiting you or a year or 2 before you make your decision then you gotta know there is a good chance in the next couple years you could be next out the door. It just baffles me how many kids commit to a school shortly after a mass exodus of underclassman players via the transfer. I get your point, but Maryland got a lot better after a bunch of players transferred away. Sometimes it signals more of a change of direction for a coach, rather than an indictment against him

I also feel like some people don't realize how huge North Carolina basketball is in that part of the world. Duke is national, but UNC basketball is kind of like college football in other southern states

I'm all about as many Big East teams being ranked as possible, but what is the infatuation with Butler? Jones and Dunham? Is Tyler Lewis really moving the needle for them?

Apparently something to this. Also, I'll be real here: MM was boring and the crowd was super dead. You didn't miss much, aspiring internet-streaming fans of Hoyatalk. Can't have Bubba Sparxxx every year...

Wow. If Josh sticks in the league, I think that'll make just 1 year where a center for us didn't make the NBA. Wasn't there 1 season between Sims and Josh's transfer? Anyway, amazing track record for JTIII. And I bet it continues with Govan.

The biggest thing I learned during the interview was that Chris Paul is the intro announcer at Georgetown games. Had no idea. Also, sounded like he won't be doing it anymore, or at least at midnight madness, due to 980 vs 106.7 issues

"Most games are expected to be on CBS Radio’s flagship sports channel, The Fan (106.7), but some games may be moved to the CBS-owned news channel WNEW (99.1)." I don't like this talk: "Longtime play-by-play announcer Rich Chvotkin will remain; Ajluni said they are considering adding an analyst to the broadcast." This all stems from Fox taking over our marketing rights. They wanted it on FM. Can Rich even work with an analyst? I actually really like the one man announcing for basketball. There's not enough space in the game on radio for in-game analysis. Maryland's games on the radio have like 3 guys, and it's a mess

I don't think Tre starts this year.....but you are probably right, Tre likely gets the nod next year. He has to get more consistent though...at times he looked wild and out of control in Italy, other times he played relatively well. Agree. From what I have read and seen in the clips, Tre plays with the mindset of an SG not a PG. He will need to be managed carefully this year if the goal is to develop him as a replacement for DSR. Because DSR is a natural PG? Tre is more of a PG than DSR

Agau reportedly able to play in Italy but not eligible until 2nd semester. Where'd you hear that? I heard that he could be eligible first semester. Standig asked JTIII yesterday

Good shooters ain't good shooters if they don't have some space to shoot. Drive and kick. It took Markel four years to be able to do it, as well as Jabril. Am I missing anyone else recently that has remotely been able to? Are any of the guards we're on supposed to be as good as Bracey at penetrating? This is a valuable skill, that coupled with other strengths on the team, makes the team much better.
We have length at the guard position coming in now, I want someone that can create for others.
