Do folks think the UK, KU, and Dook offers are real on this one?

Do folks think the UK, KU, and Dook offers are real on this one? They all have multiple offers out to high level PG's so there's probably a pecking order there. Not sure where he lands in that...

That makes sense- thanks. Waters sounds pretty good- I distrust almost all rankings, but he is easily consensus top fifty.

I feel we are frequently in Final 7s or 5s or whatever, along with these types of schools----anyone have any clue what our chances really are with this guy? I mean, Yale made this dude's final 7 too. Are we just in there to round out his list?

My guess is fairly high in the pecking order. The 2017 class isn't particularly guard heavy and a few of the point guards ahead of him don't seem like the blue bloods are the favorites there. I'm afraid this will end up just like Seventh Woods last year. Randomly show up as a hoya option, include us in his final three and then pick the blue blood like everyone else. But hey after like fifteen misses with high level point guards we have to land one eventually right? RIGHT?

We're talking about top prospects guard depth doesn't effect schools like Kansas Duke or UK. Would they take Waters over Duval, Quade Green, Collin Sexton, Trae Young etc is the question

I think we're just lucky some of the other big names didn't get involved before he cut his list.

This stuff isn't exactly easy, we have a long history of getting bigs to the league and still miss on top prospects there all the time also...

Do folks think the UK, KU, and Dook offers are real on this one? Kentucky and Duke have also offered 2017 point guards Trae Young and Quade Green, but Waters said he feels no pressure to commit early to avoid the other point guards taking spots at the two blue-blooded programs. “Obviously those are great schools and those are top-of-the-line, but if they commit first I’m not going to cry or pout about it,” Waters said. “I have to just pretty much not focus on what they’re doing, but still try to win Peach Jam, just continue to get better because if I don’t they won’t want me anyway.” usatodayhss.com/2016/4-star-pg-tremont-waters-welcomes-comparisons-to-tyler-ulis-yogi-ferrell

Do folks think the UK, KU, and Dook offers are real on this one? Kentucky has offered three point guards in the 2017 recruiting class: Trae Young, Quade Green, and Tremont Waters. John Calipari is prioritizing Trae Young, but given the roster exodus on the horizon, he’d like to add another guard to split backcourt duties with him. It’s early, but Waters wants to make sure he’s still in that conversation. kentuckysportsradio.com/main/tremont-waters-includes-uk-in-his-top-7/

Regarding the Kentucky stuff my unofficial body language reader tells me that's not happening if young ends up there but could be wrong.

www.d1circuit.com/roster_players/11929470Averaged around 15 5 and 4 at Peach Jam.... It's worth noting he plays on Expressions with Kimani Lawrence another kid getting interest from Gtown. It was mentioned by me 3 spent a lot of time at Peach watching Expressions (4 of 5 games we know of) with Kimani being the target, think it's safe to say the emphasis was on Waters. Judging from the programs that were listed as watching him at Peach think schools like Uconn and IU are more a threat to land his services than the UK Duke group fwiw...

Really good scoring PG who can fill it up or create for his teammates. Smallish but an above average athlete, very good shooter. Would be quite the coup if Coach Slo can pull this off. Popular opinion is Uconn might be the team to beat even though they just recently jumped back in..
