So are we not going to talk about the fact that Agau was on crutches at midnight madness? Any insight on his injury?

No, because no one saw it... For unknown reasons the event was not live-streamed this year.

No, because no one saw it... For unknown reasons the event was not live-streamed this year. Ah, Hoya alumi. We are more concerned that the school didn't cater to the deeply held wishes of what amounts to an extremely small number of people than we are the health of one of the athletes.

Or its a fact that this is the first time that many of us heard that one of our players was even injured at MM, the largest basketball event of the past 6 months.

Sorry I think you incorrectly replied to my email. I never made that claim. I am of course concerned by the health of all of the students, much more so than streaming dance parties.
However, I still think that there is no excuse for not streaming that celebration (like has been done several times before). I agree that it's probably a small minority of folks who would ever care to watch. However, don't you think the small group of us who want to watch are also the ones that the school constantly comes to for donations and those who are interested are likely the folks that continue to comply and donate to the university and team? Who does it hurt to provide access? And clearly based on comments on this site, it has upset some hardcore supporters.

It is my understanding that contractual arrangements with the performer(s) precluded live streaming this time.

My last post on the topic.
Why couldn't the live stream be turned off before the performance? I don't buy that the contract with a performer said that Jack the Bulldog skateboarding can't be broadcasted online.

Apparently something to this. He wasn't wearing a boot. I didn't personally bring it up anywhere because (a) I don't make a point of speculating on injuries, and (b) "Georgetown player on crutches during the offseason" is the "sun rises in the east" of Hoya fandom. Also, I'll be real here: MM was boring and the crowd was super dead. You didn't miss much, aspiring internet-streaming fans of Hoyatalk.

I only worry about the Hoyas who are NOT on crutches during the off-season. They are obviously hiding something.

So... anyone know the injury and how long he is out? I wouldn't plan on seeing Akoy in a Hoya uniform on court this season. This stems from an injury to his knee in practice earlier in the week. So unfair because of the hard work he has been putting in and things were looking very promising for him.

While that's obviously not good news for the team, it's even worse news for Akoy. Poor guy can't catch a break from the injury bug. That has to be really deflating/depressing for him. Best of luck for a full recovery.

Hopefully, results come back negative and he can somehow play this season. His ability to play 3 positions and especially the 4 and 5 could really help us this year. I was really looking forward to seeing what he can do.
