Would JWIII be able to go to Italy, or do transfer rules preclude him from doing so?

Maryland will be good next year, but I think they are really going to miss Dez a lot, especially early. He covered up a lot of flaws for them.

He’s going to have to earn it.” Coach Frank Vogel concurred: When asked if Hibbert would be benched next year as Indiana pushes for a quicker pace, Vogel responded: “Yeah, potentially. Roy Hibbert holds a player option for the 2015-16 season, but despite being relatively unwanted, he has 15.4 million reasons to opt-in and stick with the Pacers. That should make next year incredibly awkward, especially since Hibbert and his agent aren’t going to take this reduced role lying down: IndyStar Sports ✔ @indystarsports Follow David Falk, Hibbert's agent, to @candacedbuckner on reaction to Pacers' comments today: 'We will respond at the appropriate time.' 11:15 AM - 17 Apr 2015 Hibbert is limited for sure, but Vogel is a crap offensive coach and it's comical to suggest that Hibbert is the one slowing things down for them.

Otto didn't look to timid when he took the ball straight into Hibbert's chest last night. Hopefully we'll see more of that

I remember two things about him. One, his ability to dribble into teeth of defense without turning the ball over, due to his low dribble. And also that he had suspiciously manicured eyebrows

Is Anthony Collins the low-dribbler?

Do we have a shot if he is granted a release? Will be interesting to see if a kid who committed to a school with a system named "havoc" could be swayed by what we run. Well the positives are he visited here already and we were in the last 5 schools before he committed. Hopefully playing close to home means a lot to him, but I could see a lot of Shaka's recruits going with him. They weren't going to VCU to play for some storied program, they were going to play for Shaka.

Otto with 15 and 7 in a win. Hollis with 16 in the loss. Henry with a few minutes and 3 points. I'm confused. You mean that if Otto actually gets consistent, meaningful playing time he can do well? What a foreign concept. Seems like every time I check a box score when he's played decent minutes, he's always got good rebound and steal numbers too

Put me in the lonely camp of being excited about the team going forward without DSR. I'm a big fan of his and we'll miss his scoring and overall game, but I don't think his style of play necessarily opened things up for our other players. He is such a good shooter, we defaulted to him so much and rightfully so. But he was often shut down by longer and athletic defenders, and I think our success will be more driven by our other players.
Maybe I'm in denial, but insert Tre and another a capable ball handling/passing/penetrating guard and I remain damn optimistic.

One quick point. If you watch the replay, our 5 second call was no where near 5 seconds. It was closer to 2.5 seconds. That's what I thought too. Couple that with the mystery foul on Bowen, there was some weird stuff going on at the end there

This kids game is nothing like Fieler. Yeah, sorry, should have been more clear. I have little recollection of Fieler's game; that was much more a "triggering memories of a One Shining Moment dunk montage" than "his game reminds me of..." Because I enjoy sadness I went back and watched One Shining Moment from that year to make sure I hadn't created this highlight in my head (1:24-1:47 is the most relevant part): Posting highlights of that game, or other similar games, should be a ban-able offense

Second time I've seen Markelle say Kentucky is his favorite team. Since time is scarce, I would not put a full court press on this guy. Kentucky is a far diff type of team than us, so shows what he values. Plus, kentucky gets whoever they want. Hate to break it to you, but I'd venture to say that a good number of the players on our team, and most of the kids we recruit would go to Kentucky if given the offer.

Are we rooting for St Johns vs Xavier? Lowers St John's desperation for our game and maybe pushes X down in the line in any byzantine tie-breaker scenario that may play out. I'm for whatever scenario that has us not playing Xavier in the BET

Who's most likely to get BE Rookie of the Year at this point? Could it be Cope? The only other freshman that's coming to kind right now is Blueitt.

I think Cope is 1 good tourney run away from being a first rounder. And by good tourney run I mean at least Elite 8. These kinds of points always confuse me. What difference would it make if the tourney run ended in the Elite 8 versus any other specific round, when it comes to the potential draft ranking of a prospect? I get that you'd need enough games to build attention, but it seems oddly specific to say "at least Elite 8" in cases like this. The same goes with the argument about one reason why home attendance is down. I don't get why the Sweet 16/Elite 8/Final Four/whatever run is the specific magical elixir that would all of a sudden make fans come back. I said Elite 8 for a couple reasons. That would mean we are playing really well, and for us to be playing really well, Cope is probably playing really well. And then the exposure that comes along with it. Just a casual guess.

Whitehead might be the most destructive player on a team I've ever seen. And I just mean on the court. He makes horrible descions with the ball, plays no defense, and shoots a ton.
Who's been worse? The Cincy team with Lance Stephenson wasn't even like this, right?

He definitely has things to work on, but he really stands out as a pro prospect.

www.bracketmatrix.com/This gives a composite seed based off a large number of mock brackets and also grades each bracket after the year. Don't know if its been posted before, but it's a pretty cool site. Those 11 seeds don't scare me particularly. Maybe Stanford?
