Is this the same Wagner that Hoyas beat 13 - 10 in week 2?

Just returned to my hotel from MSF, nothing positive about today.
Our team was unprepared, and uninspired. The game plan was horrible, no adjustments made at halftime, same old, same old.
If you elect not to contribute to the program going forward, that's your choice. But why poison the well, There are players, their parents and alums that have a vested interest in the program.
Great strides have been made by the Gridiron Club in organization and fund raising. Most recently, a group of parents, past and present, launched a $ 100,000. challenge to increase donor participation and to expand the base.
Yes, this was not the season we all expected, we can only hope for a brighter tomorrow.
If you wish to opt out, do so silently.

If Kempf is done for the season, is he eligible to red shirt and play next year? What is GU's policy?

Arlene and I are pleased to co-host the tailgate prior to the football game with the Fordham Rams on Saturday, October 6th.
The festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Fordham University parking lot adjacent to the stadium.
Food will be plentiful, direct from Arthur Avenue, and there will be an open bar.
Come early, enjoy the fun.
Looking forward to a great day and a Hoya victory.
Phil and Arlene Newman

I spent over 20 years in the broadcasting business, at a time when the technology was over telephone lines.
This is not rocket science.
I suggest we buy the future broadcast rights to the games, and produce the games ourselves.

Hey, Problem of Dog, do you ever have anything positive to say?
Let's give the new coach the opportunity to show what he can do?
All assistants at our level are "interim" coaches. We are just the stepping stone to the next, better opportunity. It's better that we catch a young , talented guy on his way up, than a journeyman on the down side of the slope. We had that experience several years back.
Welcome Coach.

All sounds childish to me.
Two great programs, local rivals. Great local draw.
How did the conversation ever get to this point in the first place? What is the history of the negotiations between the AD's?
Seems pretty simple, you come to my house, and we'll come to yours.
What am I missing here?

Would have to be home and home series.
Why do you assume they wouldn't play in the Verizon center?
FWIW, some Maryland fans are promoting a three site rotation--Verizon Center, Comcast Center in College Park, and the third year at the 1st Mariner Arena (formerly the Civic Arena) in Baltimore.--Admin

Now let get this this straight.
GU v. NJIT in the Verizon Center, who cares, nobody shows up.
GU v. Maryland in the Verizon Center, SRO.
We need the money too.

Hoyahopeful, we all have our faults and weaknesses. We are all only as good as those we surround ourselves with. Coach Kelly has had a limited budget as compared to other Patriot League institutions. Yes, he may have stayed with the old OC too long, that was a function of his loyalty, and not having the resources to go out and upgrade. If the Hofstra program had not been dismantled, I don't think the current OC would have considered the move. We got lucky.
My guess is that Coach Kelly will not get the Yale position. From the media reports, he was not their first choice, their first choice withdrew his name from consideration after being offered the job, and now they seem to be expanding the search.
I would be pleased if Coach Kelly returned next year. If we put in another solid year, maybe your opinion will change.

hoyahopeful, we need to give Coach Kelly some credit. I can only imagine the promises made to Kelly when he accepted the head coaching position at Georgetown; a commitment to the football program, new and improved facilities, increased budget, financial support for our scholar athletes.
Most of those promises never materialized.
I trust that one of the requirements for the Yale job is going to be fund raising and alumni relations, not Coach Kelly's strong suits. But with the support of the University community and Yale's well structured football alumni organization, he should do just fine.
A "blind squirrel," I think not.
