Wagner takes out Colgate 31-20 in the first round of the I-AA playoffs. On to Eastern Washington in round two.

Is this the same Wagner that Hoyas beat 13 - 10 in week 2? Yes. Maybe even crazier, Wagner was hosting. They've now won 9 straight after an 0-3 start. Wasn't there some talk about Lehigh possibly making it to the playoffs as an at-large? Any reason why that didn't happen?

Lehigh's strength of schedule plays a role, with a nonconference slate of Monmouth, Central Connecticut, Princeton, Liberty, and Columbia. But the fact that a 10-1 team couldn't get in speaks to the perception that the Patriot League is a one-bid league in the view of this committee. That may change when the playoffs go to 24 in 2013 (adding the Pioneer champs plus three more at large), but it might not.

Is this the same Wagner that Hoyas beat 13 - 10 in week 2? The same team that beat Albany 30-0
