Yikes. Come on, Hoyas, finish strong.
EDIT: OK, if we're going to lose to a 1-9 team, just put some points on the board, anything!!!

HC may be 1-9 but they are a better team than GTown this year

Again, Patenaude was the only thing that saved Kelly's job. Back to typical Georgetown football.

Anyone know why there was such a carrousel at QB in this game? Why was the offense so ineffective? I didn't listen to the entire game, soooo what gives?
Not a fun way to end the year. Reminds me of 2004.

HC took a season's worth of frustration out on GTown today...they really were a lot better than a 2-9 team but you are what your record says you are...good luck in the hoop season.

Reminds me of 2004. Run, run, pass, punt. Mix and repeat 11 times. No particular effort or urgency to get the ball up field, and so it's on to 2013. Injuries play a part, but do do game calls. The HC coaches will enjoy the charter flight back to Worcester after seeing what Georgetown had prepared for them, at home no less. Some accountability needed for an effort like this.

Needless to say, extremely disappointing way to end the season. As said, Holy Cross was much better than your average 1-9 team, and after two straight wins, I guess we were due for a stinker. But I expected us to at least put up a fight, or score some points.
I think it's safe to say most if not all of the good feelings from last year's Patriot League runner-up season have subsided. Sure, we can blame injuries for a lot this season. We had some good moments, the ESPNU-televised win over Princeton being the highlight. But overall, it just seems to be one step forward, two steps backward for Georgetown football again.
I was a first time donor to Georgetown football last year. I hate to say it, but this year, I will not be donating.
