DuJuan can slide to the 4 position in some situations also. There's no need to panic. We have a great team returning next season. OK, now that is a reason to panic(LOL). I love DS, but he could never box out a wing player this season. Who is he going to box out in the post.

He is not the greatest student, but why would you say that? Because....it would take away a schollie from the 2008 class III is currently working on. That's why. Wrong, he would count against this years. Jeff leaving is like Edge leaving.

and the admissions comittee hits a new low...whatever, as long as he can ball (can he?) I have only viewed highlight film of him. Super athletic type with a nice lefty touch. Not really enough for me to give a full evaluation. Scout and Rivals have him rated pretty high for the 08 class. I want to win, so if he meets admission standards....

Class of 07? as in he just graduated high school? Correct me if im wrong, but I couldve sworn I had to do all those weird applications back in my junior year. hmm Hey it is happening a lot now. Most HS kids can graduate in Jan an enroll for college in the spring. A lot of football players are doing it. It is less frequent in BB, but it is legal...

I seriously doubt this will happen. And I hope it doesn't as well. He is not the greatest student, but why would you say that? It would be nice if Gillcrest could get out of his VT committment, but Greenburg is not letting him walk without losing a year.

He is now in the class of 07 instead of 08. Gtown needs another big body with Jeff gone. Clark is 6'10 190. He is skinny, but long and athletic. From North Little Rock, AR. UK, IU, and Colorado are recruiting him hard to get him as a 07 signing. He could commit any day, but GU should make a late run at him. The only 4/5s on the roster are ROY, Pat, and Vernon.

Why would you make a thread on a discussion board that you don't want people to discuss? No one ever said the information was not appreicated, nor did I ever say I wouldn't keep watching him as a coach. Like I said, my first post may have been a little blunt but I clarified myself in saying that I predict it wont pan out to much in the long run. Go ahead and PM whoever the heck you want or get your own damn website to post whatever the heck you want if you're going to be such a little pirss about getting your "groundbreaking" report tarnished by a little discussion. Now that it has become transparent that I am dealing with juvenile, I will keep that info for people with some semblance of maturity. Problem solved. I am done, you can proceed to rant.

Son, if you were a coach you would be on the unemployment line writing off a 6'10 16 year old Soph that you have NEVER seen play. If you have a problem with info that I give out on prospects, simply do not ready the thread. Since you are omniscient anyway. There must be something about the words "the coaches will continue to monitor his development", that you do not understand. I never said I had problem with the info you have given, I just offered my opinion on what I personally think will pan out so that maybe a healthy discussion could be engaged in. But apparently anone who doesnt want to laud this kid as the next coming is clueless? There was never anything to agree to disagree on, you never made a cogent argument to counter my point. Perhaps my first post was a little blunt but I then clarified my point and you still clearly had no intentions to do anything other than make personal attacks at those who disagree with you. Whatever, might as well lock this one up. Just dont call me "son," Chuck. It's fathers day and only one person gets that right. If you're so high and mighty, don't you have better things to be doing than arguing about college basketball recruiting with some twerp online? Get off your high horse. I frankly would not even respond to your non-sense if it were on another thread, however since it is my thread about a prospect... The post about the kid was not meant to "spark debate". People had asked me to give more info about prospects when I mention players that GU IS LOOKING AT. Therefore, I tried to oblige. These post are not meant to debate how good he is or whether some internet poster that has NEVER seen him play, would recruit him. Since ^%&** like you obviously can't appreciate that kind of info, I will simply PM those on the board that I know do.

Thats a real strong argument to counter my point that the kid has 2 years now to catch up with guys that have been playing their entire lives. Talk about being clueless at discussing something, you don't even know the first thing about a discussion...respectully defending your point when others disagree. You sound like some stubborn little kid at recess, grow up. Son, if you were a coach you would be on the unemployment line writing off a 6'10 Soph that you have NEVER seen play. If you have a problem with info that I give out on prospects, simply do not ready the thread. Since you are omniscient anyway. There must be something about the words "the coaches will continue to monitor his development", that you do not understand.

OK, now you are either joking or clueless. I'll just trust the coaches judgment on prospects. I would appreciate it if you didn't attack my personal opinion by saying I am clueless. This is a forum for voicing opinions, not being a jacka**. My bad. You are clueless when it comes to discussing basketball prospects on a basketball forum. Nothing personal.

well juding from past occurences, it seems as though the only people who have limited experienced but still succeeded in D1 are guys who got by with their unmatched mammoth height. this kid can be tearing it up all he wants in HS, i just dont think he will have the strong enough foundation when he steps on to that shaking court in the phone booth. not saying he isnt a hard worker, great kid or whatever you claim him to be, I just dont think he has enought time. maybe a good walk-on who can roll with the team for a year or two and start to get the feel. just don't give any of our schollies to this kind of a roll of the dice OK, now you are either joking or clueless. I'll just trust the coaches judgment on prospects.

under 7 foot and just started playing hoops? no thanks I assume you are joking, because the coaches have seen him and they like what they saw. He is already dominating in Sonny-Hill ball up in Philly, and only getting better. He blocks everything, runs the court and rebound. He likes contact and is working hard to improve his skills.

6-10 225 center, Glen Mills PA: Murray, didn’t play organized basketball before this year, he has good hands, good feet for his size, tremendous shot-blocking instincts, aggressive on the boards, strong finisher, true post player. He is raw because of his lack of experience, but he has great upside. He plays Volleyball, so he is a quick jumper. He needs to develop his post skills and shooting touch. He is on Gtown's radar, and the coaches will continue to monitor his development.

“I’d like to see him be a more dominant scorer,” Meyer said. “A lot of times he’ll take over a game when his team needs him to, but at times he tends to let the game come to him instead of taking over the game.” As much as I love and respect Jeff for being a local product who is going to make it and has established himself, the way he carries himself, being somewhat of a friend as well as opponent...I'd have to say if G'town lands Monroe we won't "miss" Jeff for too long. garbage.

ESPN just had a line in its scroll about the kid from CAL hiring and agent and staying in the draft, but nothing on Jeff. Of course info moves slow on the weekend.

FWIW, it looks like Katz only updates his blog on weekdays. Yeah, its Saturday in the summer. The only thing that is strange is that JT3 stated that he would meet with Jeff Sunday. I can't see Jeff going the agent route before that conversation, because it is not needed right now. I called some people that would be in the know about something like this, and they were dumb founded. So ABC 7 must have some great sources, lucked into some info, or they are wrong.
