yeah, Dunigan is way to raw to be one and done. He will be a three year guy at least.

It will come down to GU, ILL, and Purdue. Like we discussed before, he wants to play with his buddy Humphrey. His mom would also like him closer to home. So I will not be surprised if he stays in the Big 10.

Per Rivals: Chicago area center Michael Dunigan may not blow observers away a lot of glitz and glamour with his game. In fact, that's not his game. He's a nuts and bolts guy. And all packaged nicely in a frame that will only get bigger, stronger and nastier in college. He plays with a mean streak (what else would expect from a kid that plays for the AAU team Mean Streets) and uses his size well. A couple of pro players commented about his size fitting in nicely at their level. "

More info regarding Dunigan, specifically his performance so far at the NBPA Top 100 Camp: Michael Dunigan 6’10 C Chicago (IL) Farragut Academy 2008: The meanest big man on the circuit made his presence known in a late game by dunking any time he had the slightest daylight and blocking a handful of shots. Dunigan is beginning to separate himself from the other centers in the class. I'm just trying to figure out why we haven't offered this kid... We have offered. We are recruiting him hard. The 2 priorities for 08 or Monroe and Dunigan. A lot of the scouting services do not update that info. The only way GU would not have offered him already is that they are waiting on some kind of academic clearance.

ah, "innocent victim" - yes, much different. Sorry, chuck. Oh, and if that happened to me, I'd probably be called "dead." That is one lucky kid. Must be his name. LOL. If he had nine lives, he is now down to about 2.

"Pope is close to fully recovered from four gunshot wounds he suffered April 1 while at a party in Aliquippa. He was shot twice in the abdomen, once in the thigh and once in the left wrist." Um, how does an "innocent bystander" get shot that many times? I said "innocent victim". Which is what the Prosecutor referred to him as. You should have read what I posted more carefully before you misquoted me. If you were defending yourself from somebody, and another person shot you 4 times, what would you be called?

He is the kind of kid that JT2 would have saved or tried to. Of course this kid might not ever want to come east of the Mississippi again.

Old DC Assault player. He signed with NMST, but Theus just bounced to the Kings. Most schools do not let commits out of there signed LOI. But I know a lot of us have seen Pope play and would take him. Not sure how he is recovering from his gun shot wounds(Innocent victim), but if healthy he can really play. Total HEADCASE Chuck--this guy isn't worth touching. Major off the court issues. "Major" is an understatement(LOL). But the kid sure can play. Coach Cox recruited him at Pitt. He committed then decided he wanted to get out of the area. Pope Has a had a tough life no doubt: www.nytimes.com/2007/06/17/sports/ncaabasketball/17pope.html?_r=2&ref=sports&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

Thompson attends the high school I went to. Asked a few people who knew and they said that Loyola struggled this year, but that they had 3 legit prospects coming up and that they were young. Loyola's also a Jesuit school (as I hope the name gave away), so we might have a better shot to get this kid out of Cali. I will try to find out more about him. Did you go to Loyola during the Bailey days? The team struggled bigtime this year, well under .500. THompson has bigtime skill sets and is just comming into his own. He visited Gtown his freshman year after a summer tournament and loved it. He would not have a problem making the jump out east, but it will be a matter of the UCLA's and UA's putting the press on him next summer. Plus with only 2-3 schollies for 09, GU will have to decide between some major wing talent. Judge, Armwood...

This would help if we knew who was gurding Wright. If it was JWall, then...

your points are well made. And since I have not seen enough of the kid, to say if he is better than Sims, Braswell...However, he is good enough for UK, IU, UT to be going after hard. If the GU coaches have evaluated him and feal he can help, then they should go after him and worry about 08' 09 prospects later. A year is a lifetime in college and HS sports.
