I have a feeling Coach Thompson gave the boys some reality today at practice and I expect them to come out and play well on Tuesday. 72-65 over Notta Damn

I'd be surprised if we're ranked. The voters are stubborn and it takes alot to change the polls drastically.
I'd rather not be ranked right now anyway. Polls are meaningless anyways. The only poll that matters even a little bit is the RPI.

I saw Austin outside of the MCI Center when the game was over...didn't realize he was that tall. Can't really tell you how he reacted during the game.

I'm an alum of another University, but I'm a season ticket holder and lifelong fan of Georgetown. I've been going to Hoya games for over 15 years and I've never had an experience like the one I had yesterday. I've watched the Redskins win 2 Super Bowls, seen Georgetown win 2 tournament games on buzzer beaters and nothing was like being in the MCI Center yesterday. I just need to find a VHS/DVD of the game so I can watch it over and over again-just to make sure it happened.

The funniest thing of the day...
Riding the metro home...
Some girl asks, "I wonder who won the game?"
Me: "Georgetown"
The girl: "Isn't Duke supposed to be better"
Me: "They were undefeated and number 1"
The girl: "This is going to change things isn't it?"
Me (With a smirk): "Yeah...a little bit"
