Did anyone see Davon, Austin, or Biggie at the Game? Macklin or Summers?
Just wondered if anyone could relay the reactions of these H.Schoolers?

dont know if they were at the game, but what a great recruiting tool for JTIII. we can play (and beat) any team in the country. I hope this turns even more heads toward the program

Yes, this is truly the beginning . . .
Not that we weren't getting some respect, but this puts us on a whole new level IMO!

You saw Davon? Are you sure? My impression was he didn't make it.

no i did not see him. But i heard from a reliable source that he would be there, there were signs for him too. If he didn't make it then its regretable.

I was on the opposite side from SoCal, and before the game, some people were chanting "Davon" in the direction of a tall dude who could have been a recruit.

Not only was a great game for our recruits to be at--but especially when that top recruit (Jefferson) is a SF/SG type who got to see how Darrel Owens and Brandon Bowman's positions get to be focal point in the offense--handling, driving, shooting, passing--you just improve as a player--not just in one area but you are forced to improve your game.
However, the #1 thing I LOVED about this game in terms of GU's System was HOW we played--we finally attacked when it was there--we are often too halfcourt oriented and don't capitalize on opportunities that are there and if we see more of this--it's helpful to get some easy hoops and attract more players who see how the halfcourt system is effective but you can also get out and run and attack as well.
What a game and if you are a Hoya Recruit today, you have to happy but also excited to see that this system can be more uptempo as well and not just halfcourt oriented/passive approach.

I talked to DaJuan while standing on top of our team's bench after storming the court. He was really taking in the atmosphere and I told him that he made a great decision and that it is going to get even better when he gets here.
I dont know if Davon was there, someone on HoyaReport posted that he wasnt. Hopefully they didnt chant Davon at DaJuan.

Let's hope they witnessed it first-hand. But, if they didn't, they must have watched it on tv and have to be impressed.
Still, we want to know if they were at the game.

This game has to add to the confidence level of the players. When they execute well, it is a thing of beauty, and they executed so well against Duke. When Duke made a run at them, they didn't fold. What a great game.

I also saw DaJuan when I was out on the court. I yelled out to him--met him earlier in the year at a high school tournament, and he recognized me. He was there I think with his father, and they had some pretty good seats. He seemed to be really excited in the crazy postgame atmosphere. Can't wait to get him on campus. An excellent player and guy.

I saw Davon, I think, prior to the game. We chanted at him, it looked like him and he acknowledged us. He was getting introduced to / talking to JT2. We had girls holding up signs for him, and a bunch of people that I don't know were the ones who were calling out to him (students are coming around!). He was wearing a Georgetown Hat (a black and white one, but it was a Gtown hat).

Black and white? I think 007 will agree with me on this one, if he isnt wearing blue and gray then we dont want him.

I just sorta left them there and went to sell shirts, and was worried they might not get used. But good, you found some girls to hold them up
