Macklin played a game yesterday, so he wasn't there.

Unfortunately, a lot of the casual fans see guys who look like ball players and think they're one when they aren't. Apparently, Davon wasn't there, but a bunch of other top ranked recruits were. It's good that they saw Georgetown play the best game it's played in some time, and saw the fan support at a high for recent years. I just hope Henry Sims or Chris Braswell weren't offended by the "Join the Family, Davon" signs and cheers for Jefferson directed at them.

Apparently, Davon wasn't there Great. I suppose he had better things to do.

I saw Chris Braswell outside laughing after the game. Looked like he had a good time.

I saw Davon, I think, prior to the game. We chanted at him, it looked like him and he acknowledged us. He was getting introduced to / talking to JT2. We had girls holding up signs for him, and a bunch of people that I don't know were the ones who were calling out to him (students are coming around!). He was wearing a Georgetown Hat (a black and white one, but it was a Gtown hat). Hey, you found the signs! I just sorta left them there and went to sell shirts, and was worried they might not get used. But good, you found some girls to hold them up If we had the Ho-ya Sa-xa girls hold them up, that could have been a recruiting violation.

I saw Austin outside of the MCI Center when the game was over...didn't realize he was that tall. Can't really tell you how he reacted during the game.

Austin had 25 and 10 against O'Connell on Sunday. Must have been fired up by his future teammates....

One of my good friends sits in section 101, about the 8th row, and he swears that Davon was sitting 5 rows in front of him at the game. With his mother, he believes. Is there any way to get confirmation of this, one way or the other?

Yeah, I also could have sworn I saw him. The dude we were yelling at looked a lot like the pictures on the posters. And he answered to Davon.

The names are similar (DaJuan, Davon) but you'd be hard pressed to confuse their looks if these pictures are any indication.

I am not certain. Ron from Hoyareport compiled a list of recruits who were there, and Davon wasn't on it. According to Jersey whom I believe spoke with Ron on Saturday, Davon was nowhere to be found when the game tipped off. That certainly doesn't mean he never came after that. But Ron, who's pretty knowledgeable about these things (he picked out a number of other '08 players who were there) didn't see him. When you combine that with the fact that Carlos (the other Hoyareport staff guy) mentioned that there appeared to be some problems with finalizing Davon's travel arrangements a couple days beforehand, I put two and two together and assumed he didn't make it. BUT, I could certainly be wrong and wasn't at that end of the stadium to know for myself. He may have made it. I hope he did, after we made the signs and we had such a great game. If he saw what guys like Cook, Owens, Bowman, and Green were doing in the spot he'd be playing, I'd have to think he'd have loved it. But anyway, I'm really not sure. If you guys are pretty confident you saw him, then I'd definitely believe that. But if it was just a 6'8 black guy, it might not have been him.... Could it have been this guy:

Again, I have no idea if he was or not. I'm just going on hearsay, but my friend does swear he was there. Even if he wasn't, I'm sure it still looked okay watching it on TV...

I was also sitting in Section 101 on the aisle and mentioned a couple times that some big guys going up and down the stairs looked like possible recruits. I am looking at the pics posted above and the one at the top with the mustache definitely was not one of the ones I saw, the second one with a black jersey I think was there and the third one in the "Crusaders" jersey is a maybe but I wouldn't bet on it. Who are these in the pics? For what it's worth, I take a good look when I see tall high schools kids walking to seats near the Hoyas bench.

It is premium info, but I don't mind sharing it. If other HR members dislike it, or the admins think it's too much, LMK via PM and I'll edit it out. The top guy is DaJuan Summers. He was definitely there. The second guy is Davon Jefferson. Still, nobody sure. The third guy is Henry Sims, Sophomore from Mt. St. Joes in Baltimore, being recruited by us, Syracuse, Maryland, and others. He was definitely there too. Also there--Austin Freeman, Chris Braswell, Sean Mosley (killer '08 guard), Brandon Herbert ('08 guard and DaJuan's teammate @ McDonogh), Maurice Hubbard ('08 wing), Jason Clark ('08 guard), and Mike Williams ('07 center).

RB, where did you get that Summers quote? From Ron on Hoyareport, in his latest article. I just changed the punctuation a bit, haha, because it's an alternate reading of it (not that I can really do that, but I like how it looks ).
