I’d sign up for this right now. Good kid and can rock.

So he gave ESPN a heads up on his decision? And word hasn’t leaked. Or the network told him the only way he can come on is if he selects the school that benefits ESPN the most? Based on how his recruitment has gone and his dads reactions on Twitter that doesn’t add up. He’s probably going on that show because his pops is friends with Williams. Exactly. There is zero chance the Anthony's have told ESPN he is going to UNC. The network will find out when the rest of the country does. This certainly seems the rare recruiting battle where Hoya fans should have no reason to be critical of Cole, his family, Patrick or his staff if Georgetown is not the choice. Then again, seems we always find a way🤔 The network will know the morning of which school he chose. I was a producer there for five years and my graphics operator would raise holy hell if I didn’t tell him prior to the show what lower third to build once he announced his commitment.

There has been obvious progress for the program this season but this doesn’t look like a team that should be rewarded with playing in the postseason, regardless if it’s in the NIT.
Brutal performance. They should be more prepared for this at this point in the season.

I’m starting to think Pat must owe Zo some bread or something.

The losses don’t bother as much as they have in recent seasons because it’s no longer painful just watching our games but Pat isn’t inspiring confidence that he knows how to push the right buttons in close games.
I just hope he figures out a rotation and sticks with it. No reason whatsoever for some of the lineups we had late in the game and Trey should only get off the bench to give Govan a breather, if that. No LeBlanc or Mac for long stretches in the second half ... I don’t get it.
I’m staying positive because I didn’t expect us to be a tourney team this year but you have to find a way to win games like these.

It’s inexcusable how bad this team is defensively.
That’s on the coach.

We played well for most of the second half, but we do some alarmingly bad things defensively and it’s not just one or two guys. You can blame youth, but it’s basic stuff and it’s worrying.
Looking forward to ‘Cuse but we need to not play like we’re completely disconnected on defense to have a real shot.

I haven’t seen Tyrese play in over a year but am very familiar with him from his time at Riverdale. Kid has tools but he always left you wanting more. Could ignite an entire gym with one play and completely make you forget he was on the floor for quarters at a time. How he left Riverdale also made me think a return to the D.C. area was probably out of the cards.
However, kids can make gigantic leaps between then and now and maybe the above is outdated. We’ll see.

Why didn't he take the SAT sooner? Bad advice? Wanted to go straight to the NBA? Who knows, but he would get the scores from the December 1 test around December 15th. He just needs to pass it. I think he took it, just didn't pass it...multiple times I'm guessing... I could be wrong, but I’m almost positive the story from above stated he hasn’t taken the test yet. It’s almost mind-numbing to think how a kid this far along in the process hasn’t taken the test at least twice by now. What if he doesn’t get the score he needs? I coach kids who are 3.0 and above kids in the classroom who do horrible on the SAT. It’s not a layup, no pun intended. Hard to make sense of it.

Are there any qualification issues if he is just now taking the SAT's? Why else would he be taking them if he has graduated? One has nothing really to do with the other but it is mind-blowing that he hasn’t taken the SAT yet. Really makes me wonder who is advising this kid.

Win or lose, I’m just glad it’s fun watching this team play again.
Forgot what that felt like.

Norfolk State, of course. Someone who should know relayed last week it’s really down to Oregon and UNC. As always, I would love to be wrong.

Interesting No mention of Duke. Was in NC for Curry Camp. Visited both UNC and Wake. No Duke... which is about a 10 minute drive from UNC. Maybe the Duke hate flows through Anthony's DNA? He’s not going to Duke. It’s a two-school race.

I saw it from jump to final buzzer and there’s no question Akinjo outplayed Cowan. Mac didn’t disappoint but Akinjo wowed me on more than a few occasions. Been a minute (Otto?) since I was that impressed with a freshman’s KL debut. His mentality is what you can tell Coach Pat wants out of his point guard. Jabril-esque in his approach. Zero chance he’s not given the keys.

Deacon, Who are the other starters for The Tombs? I wasn’t even paying attention TBH. Akinjo is doing whatever he wants. Threes, finishing at the bucket, dishing, boning up on D ... mightily impressive.
