Scoring 60 points is overrated...

Yes, Patrick & Elmore, criticize a kid looking to pass out of a quadruple team....

See MIKE PATRICK @ 19:25 ("Summers has done zippo...").

The hoop is pressing charges against Greg.

Appreciate Patrick and Elmore showing Jessie some love, but there is some truth to the criticism sadly.

You know how a guy hits a HR in the first game of the season and you jokingly say 'He's on pace for 162 HRs!"
I'm not so sure L'ville won't actually shoot 100% the way they're going.

Told you so. Awful press break, but I don't put that one on Wright.

Nice take by Chris, exactly the sort of controlled aggressiveness he needs to have, and has had.
Nikita would be infinitely more valuable if he released the ball quicker. He gives up so many open looks because he needs 4 steps of separation.
Mike Patrick is spot on on the press break, "Doesn't look like he got any help..." on Nikita's TO. It will never change, but 2 guys cannot beat this press all night. Need to use a 3rd guy to flash around the mid-3rd of the court.

I'll miss Jessie. Putting everything aside for a moment, he deserved a better run in his senior season than what he's gotten. No one's first NIT should be as a senior.

I had no problem with officiating. It was bad all around and we even got a few calls (Jesse's taking a charge, Wright's non-charge). The Summers call gets made 9 of 10 times. A lot of the calls I disagreed with on the spot were more stupid fouls than calls. We had a stretch there in the second half where the help defender came out of nowhere to foul an otherwise already defended shot, and I'm going, whaaaaaat? I liked our effort helping out, but we earned those calls just because when you come in to a play that late it's almost a penalty for not playing smarter and boxing out.
The only time I get riled up about officiating is excessive offensive fouls because they are such judgment calls and it's better to just the them play. Oh, those and bench technicals.

We have 3 legit Final 4 contenders and our middle of the pack teams are giving a better run to top teams in other conferences than they're middle guys are giving to our top teams. The best team in every conference, where they are clearly #1 with the exception of UNC/Duke, is in danger of playing on Wednesday in BET.

The Cincy and SHU games are what really mark this season right now in terms of success. Win those chippies and we're 8-6, on the way to what is likely 10-8/11-7, NCAAs, and we say, "Hey, maybe we didn't do as good as we hoped, but we did as good as we were supposed to."

I like to think from all I've heard about Greg, and why he chose Georgetown in the first place, that he'll be back.
I'd hate to see us become a one-and-done type of program, and I feel pretty confident in thinking that JT3 discussed this with him in recruiting. Coach knows that the school won't be happy if we become known as some basketball factory. Looking at our peer schools in terms of institutional size and educational quality and basketball prowess (Duke, 'Nova, maybe ND although they are bigger, and there are others), their one-and-dones are outliers compared to what goes on at the larger powerhouses.
EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but AI leaving after 2 years is the earliest anyone has left the program for the NBA?
