I just want to say that I love watching him play basketball. I'm not sure what it is about his game or his demeanor on the court, but I have a full on man crush. I wish he hadn't gone through a slump like he did earlier in the year. I'm really going to miss watching him play next year.

Although his point totals may not say it, his performance today was fantastic. He definitely kept us in it.

What game were you watching. ? He got lost his man at the end of the half for a 3 that tied it, and was a no-show in the 2nd half in respect to running the offense.......... he has checked out!!

In my opinion, it was Dajuan who lost his man. And the only reason that 3 was open was one of the Marquette players was setting an extended moving pick in front of Greg to keep him from contesting the shot.

21 you only saw 1/2 of what he missed on defense. lost like a rookie on rotation let alone rotating back and giving up 2 threes in the first 1/2 . and was immediately pulled .

Not sure what's going on with Sapp, but I really feel for him. Somewhere this season it seems as though he lost his confidence and forgot that he runs New York. Hope he finds his inner confidence again, not for the team's sake, but just because he's such a great guy.

The perfect example of how bad these players are on defense was that play when Mcneal or Matthews drove from the arc weaving around Sims and Sapp for a layup without help from the weak side. Sims froze, while Sapp only extended a hand. What are you saving your fouls for??? If you know you're burned, foul him and make him shoot the FTs. We don't need you, Sapp, to be saving your fouls. We need you to play hard on defense.

Summers is the problem on D. Seriously- he is awful. Has no instincts whatsoever, and gets beat both off the dribble and because he ALWAYS over-commits to help D, leaving his man open for a 3 on the perimeter. At least he is reliable...

I'll miss Jessie. Putting everything aside for a moment, he deserved a better run in his senior season than what he's gotten. No one's first NIT should be as a senior.

Jessie is not a perfect player... but he's been a warrior over 4 years at GU. The good far outweighs the bad. His list of accomplishments include starting on two straight BE Champions. A BET Champ. And a Final Four. The list of Hoyas with those credits on their hoops resumes is extremely short. Thanks Jessie!

I really hope Coach avoids the temptation to shorten Jessie's times and give Clark et. al. bigger minutes in the NIT to prepare for next year. It would be alousy way to end a good career.

I'm a big fan of Jesse and think he has contributed a lot to the team in his four years here. As I said on another thread, I just think it's sad that he has had such a poor senior season.

I felt terrible for Jessie on Saturday as well. I was talking to him at the event Friday night for a brief moment and he seems like a great kid. Onions forever!

Sapp's decline corresponds directly with IIIs decision to bench him early in the year for WATTAD - sweet!

He played well tonight against Louisville. Hustle, grit, heart. He and Wright were the main reasons the game was even in reach.

He had a nice stretch but I don't think he played well overall...he forced the issue too many times on drives in the second half - its like he doesn't know his own limitations.
