I don't about the replay. Still the worst call I've ever seen. We would NEVER get that call on other end.

It's too bad dribbling is part of the game because we genuinely suck at it. Seriously do we ever practice dribbling. We are fundamentally unsound and strategically inept.

We commit so many lazy, undisciplined, dumb turnovers. It's like trying to work "the system" passed trumps common sense. That's guys covered - oh well I'm gonna try and pass it anyway.

We are missing Agau, white and Copeland. At least White and Agau have an excuse. Was expecting a lot more from Copeland this year. When I think about it in that context I'm less disappointed. We lost 2 1/2 starters out of our expected lineup. Maybe we're lucky to even be where we are. 1-When was Agau expected to start? No one was saying that around KL time before his injury. 2-Fans on this board had White coming off the bench. They were almost begging for it considering they had a new toy in Derrickson and wanted Copeland to play SF. 3-Copeland is in a terrible funk. Are the coaches doing anything t help him get out of it? Like call some plays for him early on to get him some easy looks and get him going? Agau was the half. May have started over Bradley or at least expected to come off bench early.

It's becoming increasingly hard for me to watch these games with the way the officiating has been. It's becoming a self fulfilling prophecy whereby it seems the refs to seem to think "oh Georgetown fouls a lot therefore anytime they're near the ball it must be a foul". Clearly other coaches have picked up on this as well and have told they're players to really ham up contact when they play us. Guys are flopping like Italian soccer players against us and its working. So the cycle continues.
Is there really anyone you can bring this to officially to complain about? The whole reffing mistakes don't cost games is BS when it's one sided. When they screw up for both teams, sure it probably evens out but when one team is constantly on the short end you can't tell me it doesn't affect outcomes. Games are lost on one or two points and when guy can't stand under the opposing teams basket for a rebound and put back without getting called for a foul, it's a legitimate problem for the game. A 27-13 foul discrepancy simply doesn't make sense. What I saw happen last night didn't make sense. I applaud the team for their self control. I don't know that I would have as much. What the league is putting them through is really unfair and I feel badly for the players (and for me as a fan - the games are really frustrating and laborious to watch).

Have to agree with TC here and I don't think it's even close. Sims had quicker feet defensively, better outside shot, MUCH better passer, better shot blocker and stronger hands with the ball (fewer lost/dropped balls). Hayes a little better rebounder and better hook shot. Your memory is off on the shot blocking. Sims averaged 1.4 blocks in 27.3 minutes per game his senior year. Hayes is averaging 1.4 blocks in 24.3 minutes per game. I'd bet Hayes numbers decline as we head into meat of schedule where he's defending taller players but I could be wrong. Hank to my eye was a better recover/help defender and got blocks coming back across that Brad just isn't gonna get to.

Sims never played at the level of Hayes (where he is now). Sims loved being the team clown, but learned to focus for his final year. Hayes has always worked. He had injuries that ate chunks of two years. Hayes is a baller that is making a real difference and is putting up the numbers. I don't want to take anything away from what Hayes is doing, but saying that he's playing better than Senior year Henry Sims is ridiculous. Senior year Sims was a force on both ends of the floor. Have to agree with TC here and I don't think it's even close. Sims had quicker feet defensively, better outside shot, MUCH better passer, better shot blocker and stronger hands with the ball (fewer lost/dropped balls). Hayes a little better rebounder and better hook shot.

Losing to a team that has shot 50% at the line.

I was. My wife is not gonna be please when she gets home. Least urgent team I have ever seen. We do nothing to take advantage of size differences. Our offense seems to minimize these advantages. Have a 6'8" guy trying to out cut a 6'2" guy instead of shooting over him. I don't get it. Someone (honestly) explain this philosophy to me. Let her watch the game. She'll understand. With regard to the size part, neither of our bigs tonight were working to get good position down low and, add to that, our wings weren't trying particularly hard to pass it in as a result. Chicken/egg thing but Bradley spent a ton of time setting picks up top that weren't really generating any shots or drives. Jessie was posting up way too far out to be remotely effective down low. That size difference out that far means nothing. We had big bodies on the floor but played small. I wouldn't have minded seeing a physically small lineup out there if that's what we were going to continue to do. That's my point. That's what we ALWAYS do. Send our bigs up top to set screens that we rarely shoot off of and never pick and roll off of (maybe 1 or 2 x times this year). Over and over and over again. Why bring a center out to do that if it never works especially when you have an advantage down low. Make their defenders work for crying out loud or at least make them foul you trying to get position. No wonder they hit all their free throws. We did nothing to get them winded. If We were a deadly 3 pt shooting team it would be one thing but we aren't. We are extremely average.

Totally agree. That's why they play the way they do. III should have been throwing chairs tonight. I was. My wife is not gonna be please when she gets home. Least urgent team I have ever seen.
