The Jabril article has inspired me. Bad year but these guys have a lot of hard work to balance basketball, life and school. Hoping for a better year next year. Hoping it starts today. Going to game wearing our colors loud and proud. And no bag over my head. Coach, team lets get it together and play with some pride today outcomes be damned.

I hope marquette tries to deny DSR, I trust Peak or Ike just as much right now We should have denied Riyan entry into the game.

You are one of the few posters that will openly criticize the coaching without throwing players under the bus. The players are 18-20 years old and Im not going to spend a lot of time personally attacking them. Just doesnt feel right. But, I will admit that it's not all the coaches fault. I just think it a lot about the coaches fault Can't absolve the players. Watch their cuts and screens. Lazy. Slow. Players running into each other. Jessie holds the ball out on a platter like he's serving it to the other team. In fairness to everyone, it's a sh$tshow top to bottom.

Down 15. To Marquette. Pretty close to rock bottom here. This is the worst Hoya team I can remember. By the eye test there are few if any redeeming qualities or skills.

No worries. Per the ESPN box score, there's a Ra'Mond Hines on our bench available. That kid can play. Shut down defender

And we're down 8 early in the first. It's our secret recipe.

When was the last time we held the lead in a game for more than a couple of minutes? Always playing from behind, struggling to get even. So frustrating. Hard to lead when every time you get close you turn it over for 3 straight possessions. We are not a good basketball team on either end of the floor.

Looks like I'll be skipping the DVR. Again. Sigh. I'm might never actually watch a game again. It's easier when I don't have to watch how bad we actually have become and I don't have to keeping holding out hope that we'll find a way back from 10,15, 20 pts down. We can't even keep them close now.

They built their lead by hitting threes in the first half. If they shoot as they normally do, the game is tied or the Hoyas are winning at halftime. The fouls did not become an issue until the end, and those were the result of SHU having multiple fast guards who could penetrate at will. Unless you want III to suit up and try to keep Whitehead out of the lane, that is not a coaching issue. The coaching problem (in so much as the coach picks the players) is that we lack anyone with either the skill set or aptitude to stop Whitehead. That is squarely on the Coach. Or ANY of the guards on the vast majority of teams we've faced this year including the UNCs-not chapel hill.

Is it striking to anyone else that Ike really can't even dribble?? Then when he tries to throw an entry pass he throws it off defenders' thighs. Just mindblowing to me He looks like the guys in Space Jam after the aliens came and took their basketball powers. The degree to which he's regressed relative to last year is unfathomable. Our player development is incredibly puzzling. It's not just him. It's everyone but LJ. Marcus is also very bad. It is accentuated by our sets which seem to encourage guys to dribble into traffic (often their own teammates). It is indeed very puzzling how fundamentally unsound this team is.
