Reading that article reminded me that the ACC championship will be at the Verizon Center in 2016. With UMCP no longer in the ACC, that just seems so bizarre to me. New York is bizarre enough, but I understand wanting to maintain a presence in NYC, esp. with all of the ND, Cuse and Duke alumni in the area. DC is just plain weird.

Yeeeeeaahhhhhhh I think most of us can speak from personal observation that it's not hard to get ND, Cuse, and Duke alumni to Verizon. Shoot, you'd think having the B1G Tournament at Verizon was dumb, and it ain't exactly Chicago/Indy, but I can't throw a football down the street in my neighborhood on a Saturday in October without hitting a B1G fan going to a gamewatch.

I'm bumping this thread because
a) the ACC is now going off-off Broadway b) this was a super fun read of Jay Bilas thinking the ACC would kill off the Big East

But he has become insufferable. And he's wrong a lot more than he's right, even though he acts like he's right about everything.
