Did he get a “strong &$%” offer. How does the LSU coach still have a job.

Please, please, please stop replying to rockhoya. He has only been back for a few days and already started aggressively hostile arguments with numerous other posters. Until the mods step in, for the good of all of us, please ignore him. You can block a member, although you still see their posts in replies.

So does this mean Mac is also transferring to UMD? Would be great to see Mac and Wahab not passing to each other, or anyone for that matter.

Honestly he reminds me of Luke Harangody from ND. I don’t remember Harangody being as athletic and dunking like this.

What do NBA teams want more? Player A: 6’11”, 0.1 A/TO, not a great defense presence, 67% FT, 0 shots outside paint Player B: 6’2”, 1.1 A/TO, not a great defensive presence, 79% FT, 34% 3pt. I think the answer is c, neither. At the near minimum you need good defense to play in the NBA. If you are a defensive liability there really isn’t a place for you in the modern NBA. Agree. Neither. Should have asked which do they want less.

Alonzo was a beast in the post and by his junior year he started hitting short range jumpers. No reason why Q could not do this. He has pretty good touch from the foul line. The 0.1 assist to TO is a terrible stat. Govan is a much better shooter than Q, not good on D. I would think Jesse would be more valuable to an NBA team than Q. Very disappointing that he is transferring for many reasons but next man up. Leblanc scored like 2 points per game at LSU. Mac did not become a PG. shooting percentages were meh. It takes time to adjust to a new team, system, school. Best of luck to Q, but he is not going to like being the screener and trying to chase down rebounds.

Zo didn’t have anyone else to get a bucket. In 1990 Xavier had Tyrone Hill, 6’9, lottery pick I think, who played in the NBA a long time.

Great win. I think the best two players on the court today were Nova players. Tough to win in that situation, but a great team effort, and obviously great coaching made it happen.

Way to go, HOYAS!!!! I'm looking forward to reading here on how Ewing failed the squad after this win. Yes, the horn, or the light. the temporary clock did not show tenths of a second. So when it first showed 0 it was really 0.9. Ball was out of his hand in under a tenth. I think the clock Behind the hoop confirms this.

Green has a nice situation where he is playing with familiar players who trust him. The Nets needed him to score a bit more as Durant had missed a few games coming back from minor injury. I believe Porter is not 100%. I heard an interview with a Bulls' beat writer last week. He said that Porter can't move his feet on defense anymore, and has become a big defensive liability. He's been injured on and off for the past 3 seasons or so. Unfortunately, his body my just be too beat up. He is bigger and stronger than he has ever been before, and he can still shoot and play pretty well all around on the offensive end. But from what this beat writer said, his defense has become such a problem that he really is not a viable NBA starter anymore. Otto was injured in summer league his rookie year, hip I think. Has had multiple injuries since. Hoops hype says he is 36th highest paid player at 28.5M, but his contract runs out this year.

I hope everyone is ok. At least I don’t have to watch Max Strus hit 10 3s against us.

The team should have watched the Otto porter or the Jabril game (or was that the same game) Obviously we don’t have Otto porter or Jabril. We threw it to the foul line a few times after the 11min mark when I was able to start watching but that’s it. And did nothing with it. Need a big at the baseline and a cutter. I think we might have those two type of players. Also, “rebound!”

I missed the first half. In the second we got burned multiple times by the left corner three. They ran their weave and a SH player dropped to left corner. Hoya defender (Blair several times) sagged off to the paint and could not recover in time. We have a shot blocker in the middle, no reason for guard to be in the pain when SH is drilling open threes. Also some of our turnovers with passes to no where were horrible. Worse that it was seniors who were responsible for many. I thought our team played hard and well narrowing the lead, but spotting them so many points really put the game out of reach early.

Wow, what a win. D Harris is a player. Carey was channeling some Austin Freeman out there. I don’t recall a Hoya team ever fouling when up 3 at the end of a game. Not sure this is the right play against a team that doesn’t shoot the three well and was all over the offensive glass.
