Boy Hagans would be a game changing recruit. He would vault our 2018 class into the top 20 in the country.. Maybe that would entice O'Neal as well? A guy can dream.
Hagans is a BIG TIME player.

Should pursue Shareef big time. Would love to get him to campus. Maybe him and Doutrive can come on a visit together??

Recently visited by Arizona coaching staff and offered. Three 247 sports insiders crystal balled him to Zona after the offer. I believe he is taking an official visit some time soon.
Not looking promising for the Hoyas on this one. Would have been an enormous addition to the class. Love this kid's ability to create and score.

Jeffrey Otchere, the 6-foot-11 JUCO center from Garden City (KS) Community College, is one of the fastest rising talents at the JUCO level and has over 20 Division 1 offers from schools ranging from the MAC to the A-10, including interest from high-major programs. Kenneth Robinson, Otchere’s mentor and skills developer who has worked with the PSA Cardinals AAU program, sees comparisons with Otchere and current Texas big man Mo Bamba, who Robinson also trained and is projected to go No. 3 in ESPN’s latest NBA Mock Draft. “He’s pretty much getting recruiting for his defensive expertise,” Robinson said of Otchere. “He’s no Mo Bamba, but he has a defensive ceiling right below Bamba.” “He has high-major potential if he can develop his offense,” Robinson added. At 6-foot-11, Otchere possesses a long 7-foot-6 wingspan, 9-foot-3 standing reach, 33-inch vertical, fast, can run the floor, slides his feet horizontally and vertically like a guard and can guard any position. www.zagsblog.com/2018/02/18/2018-juco-center-jeffrey-otchere-talks-recruiting-development/Came here to post about this young man. I know PG is our top priority, but having a true big man who could come off the bench, spell Govan, block some shots and rebound would be huge next year. I think next year's rotation of Govan, MD, Trey, Carter and LeBlanc in the frontcourt is solid, but a true C in that mix with three years of eligibility would be great. I also don't think a player like him would scare off the likes of Kofi, Stewart, Igiehorn and the other top big men we are going after. Would love to see the staff scouting Otchere, if they see him and think he is not Big East caliber, so be it. But I hope we give him a look.

It appears we're positioned well in the early stages for earl timberlake in the 2020 class. He's a must get. Have/hope to keep him home. What makes you say we are well positioned? I very much hope you are right, I am just curious. He already has a Big East body and will be a superstar as his shot progresses.

Harris should be near the top of the board for us when you factor in position and location. Love his game, length and ability to create.
For what it is worth, the Virginia Tech insiders think he is a heavy lean for the Hokies

Sounds like he was at UVA for their game (loss) to the Hokies this weekend. Sounds like a top priority for UVA.

Finally! Big time kid. Going to go see him play some other future Hoyas next week against Dematha.

I would imagine Devonaire Doutrive would be on that list. Looks like he has a ton of upside I don't think Doutrive is a backup plan. Pat should be going after him just as hard as the other two.

If we can get him to the Hilltop, I think he will commit, but we just have to hope he doesn't commit to Mizzou this weekend. Cuonzo has a way about him that gets these guys to commit that's for sure.

I am not mad at the current or former staff for not getting Xavier to come to the hilltop. You can't control where all of these guys want to go, but I saw Xavier play tonight against Dematha and he is exactly what we need.
Great ball handler, physically ready for the next level, gets into the lane with ease, finishes at the rim and has a solid outside shot.
Need to start locking down these WCAC fellas!

It will be really disappointing if we don't get a visit. First to offer, seemed like there was a lot of interest. If he goes somewhere else after visiting, fine, but at least need to get the young man on campus.

Love the aggressiveness and all the offers being dished out. Hopefully one of these young men will see the opportunity and jump on board!

Not loving those quotes from Isaiah. It's almost like "yeah, that's where I would have gone back in the day".. Lucky he isn't a 2018 kid or we would have no chance.
Hopefully he takes his time and we show some strides between now and his commitment date. He is absolutely the top of the 2019 board for the Hoyas.

Kentucky seems like a very logical destination for EJ. Right now they have zero front court players in the 2018 class. If they pursue him hard, I would be surprised to see him end up anywhere else. But you never know.

Putback as time expired to lift Gonzaga over O'Connell last night. Led the team with 19 points.
Should be the very top of the Hoyas 2020 board.
