Let's see what the Hoya nation can come up with, all you Armchair Recruiters throw a name in the pot. Tykei Greene is a 6'4 PG/SG from NY plays for Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School . He's got the size that I think PE is looking for www.verbalcommits.com/players/tykei-greene

Need a guard that can pat the rock and get his own next season. I can’t live through the end of game incompetence again next season. Mac will help, but we need more help.

Blake Hinson, PF reclassifying to the class of 2018. A 6-foot-7, strong and active forward who can play the three or the four, what Hinson does best is shoot the basketball. However, he has become a better-rounded prospect in recent months. He could make for a monster of small-ball power forward, thanks to his motor, willingness to defend, rebounding and ability to extend the defense with the perimeter jumper. Reclassifying into the 2018 class looks to be a legitimate option for Hinson, and while there is still some time to go before a college decision is made, it does look as if SMU, Seton Hall, Washington State, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt sit in a prime spot for an official visit and, ultimately, his college commitment. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/junior-blake-hinson-turns-full-attention-to-future-in-basketball

An Unsigned Senior Guard You Got to Know www.phenomhoopreport.com/2018/02/01/unsigned-senior-guard/Unsigned senior guard Junub Chuol is one of the most unknown stars throughout our region. Sure he carries offers from the likes of UMass, Wyoming and others. Sure he played on the EYBL for the New York Lightning this past summer, and he averaged 9.5 points and 54% from the field. But still, Chuol is unknown. That should change soon. Chuol is of South Sudanese decent, but was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. American born, Chuol was identified early as a major basketball prospect. Last year he played at Blair Academy using the Luol Deng scholarship to attend. This year he transferred down to Fayetteville to attend Village Christian. To add to matters worse, Chuol struggled with a foot injury to start the season. Just as games started, he had to go back home to Omaha where he nursed his foot injury and took care of his mother was also sick at the same time. Come January, Chuol was healed and he came back with a vengeance. Just in time for league play. Remind you, the Fayetteville private school league is jam packed with talent. Night in and night out you get Joey Baker, Milos Stajcic, Greg Gantt, Josh Nickelberry, Milos Galogoza, Audiese Toney, Ian Steere, Jahmari Harvey and others. No nights off. Fresh off a foot injury, through his first month of the season, Chuol is averaging 19 points and 6 assists, shooting 40% from three and 55% from the field.
When you watch him, you immediately notice the quick twitch explosion. Some people in stands said he reminded them of Dennis Schroeder. For us, he is a little more along the lines of Myck Kabongo. He has that type of frame to go with that type of sheer speed. However, you cannot deny that jump shot. He is making it at a 40% clip this year, and shooting it confidently off the bounce and the catch. Kurtis Darden, the two-time defending state champion head coach at Village Christian has players throughout D1 and D2 basketball currently, including Washington State, Air Force and others. He says candidly that Chuol is the most talented player he has coached. Most recently Virginia Tech, LaSalle and Oklahoma State has been in contact most recently. More schools at that level will continue to hear about him and come see him…So much talent, and kid is one of the best around. Watched a game of his last night and If I had one wish for today it would be for someone who has contacts with the staff to make sure they know about this kid...

Might as well put potential grad transfers in here, too:
have only sorted through PG's having productive years so far (and of course this depends on if they're actually on track to graduate this spring):
Original school in parentheses:
Clayton Custer - Loyola Chi (via Iowa State) Ahmaad Rorie - Montana (via Oregon) Lamonte Bearden - Western Kentucky (via Buffalo) Marcus Stroman - Louisiana (via So Carolina) Tyree Griffin - Southern Miss (via Ok State) Pookie Powell - La Salle (via Memphis) Isaiah Wright - San Diego (via Utah) Justin Coleman - Samford (via Alabama) Tarin Smith - Duquesne (via Nebraska)
