Maryland has 3 stud freshmen. None were 5 stars but they play like it. Impressive to go 20-2 starting 3 freshmen. Also, the Big Ten looks down. No title contenders in that conference. Good to see Northwestern finally have a good team.

Holtman is a great coach but I don't know why he didn't want them to foul there. It's a 1 and 1

How did we not know how much time was on the shot clock after a timeout?

How did they not call the double dribble on JG? Martin doing too much is helping us here.

We go too long without getting JG and MD inside touches.

Mulmore's floater is not a good looking shot. Off balance, wrong foot and hand.

Kamar Baldwin is dirty. I enjoy watching that kid play. He's tough.

That's not how recruiting works. Tremont has been around these guys before. They aren't going to just now consider Georgetown because a Jordan Brand teammate told them to.

I'm sorry, if Waters doesn't have a better freshman season than Mosley, that will be considered a massive dissappointment. Not worried because he will.

Those honors really don't mean a thing. It's not like those guys were highly rated recruits. Jalen Brunson was a 5 star.

We haven't advanced to the second weekend of the tournament since the Bush administration but again ... nothing to see here, move along. *hands up* What's funny is, I'm around area coaches/players on a daily basis and I used to defend our coach like he was a family member. Now, how do you defend the indefensible? Our rep locally is at a level I'd never thought I'd see. I was at a banquet last night and the topic of our program came up at our table and kids in the '19 and '20 classes who are multi-sport athletes and two of whom are no doubt BE-caliber players just laugh at the mere thought of Georgetown but this has become the norm. I even hate relaying stuff like that because of how much it stings but it is what it is and we actually have people willing to put up with minimally three more years of this?!?! I can echo these sentiments. The perception of Georgetown locally is bad. Not only is it not the cool school or winning program at the current time, but there is no local presence. The current roster isn't filled with local players and even the locals we do have weren't the headline names among locals. Local coaches and players have noted that Georgetown isn't out recruiting like the other schools. This is inexcusable in my mind. You gotta have your face in the crowd on a nightly basis. MD and Nova are at every game. VT, Miami, Pitt, and UVA are constantly in the area. Other staff's are relating with the kids better and just out working us. It's the most frustrating thing for me.

How many high majors offered his son? Can't expect too much. Duke & Florida Haha you can't be serious. He did not have a Duke offer. He wasn't a top 150 recruit anywhere. He was offered a walk on spot.

Zo!!!! How do you put up with the fact that someone doesn't think your son doesn't deserve a chance on a team that 1-6 in the BE!!!!! How many high majors offered his son? Can't expect too much.

If it was simply coaching and not talent, then this team would have games where they really flashed. Inconsistency plagues poorly coached teams. This team has been consistently poor all season long. This team beat Oregon. They have consistently played evenly against top flight competition but falter at the end of the game. For the life of me I don't get the extremes on this board. This team does not have elite talent. But it isn't the least talented team in the Big East. And we are now in the bottom of the league standings. I sat here on this board for several years when we were struggling and listed to all the "talent" we were bringing in. That talent is now the junior class. We aren't developing a cohesive basketball team with our players. Should we try to get better players? Sure. But we have major conference talent. At least as good as Houston, and Auburn, and Georgia, and a bunch of the other random teams that are currently on the NCAA bubble. Dillon Brooks hardly played that game and was returning from injury.

Why do you guys waste your breath arguing which marginal player should be playing more? It doesn't make a difference.

Tre airballs a pull up 3 from 25. You don't win when your role players do stupid things like that. This is not a winning culture.
