I thought I had reached a point of being numb to the program after last year. But amazingly, the Butler game , in a completely different way, was as sickening as losing to Ohio back when we were actually a competitive program. Just reinforced that we are easily the worst major college program in the entire country. It has to be really hard on the kids, especially the HS recruits who basically never play and have to watch this amateurish mess.

Never heard of Nickens prior to this article. However, I would hire him as our head coach in a second. Has to be better than what we have.

Maybe the Hoyas best game of the year. It appears we may actually have middle of the pack Big East Talent ( in a down year). Whether that translates to as many as 3 Big East wins is far from certain. Amazing that I feel somewhat good about an overtime loss at home to an SEC bottom feeder. Thank you Patrick and the powers that be at Gtown!

How anyone could NOT be happy to get a 6 4 guard ranked in the top 30 by everyone, boggles my mind.

Wasn’t there a kid named Berry who taught AI the crossover in practice?

I want Ewing gone AND I want Aminu in the NBA. I think if he works hard on his offense by next year he will be on an NBA roster. I think he is probably not that far from NBA ready defense and rebounding for a guard.

I do not think he is fully healthy. He is limping a bit every so often and not moving quite as well as usual. But would love for him to contribute and get a ring.

Question for Hoya Historians here. To my knowledge, the only Hoya players with NBA championship rings would be Jaren Jackson and Alonzo. Otto could be the third. We've obviously had great players lose in the Finals. Am I missing some players who won rings?

He’s 7 of 9 from three in the Finals so far.

24 minutes is ideal for Otto at this point, in terms Of staying healthy. I think he’s being used perfectly.

I’ll be very disappointed if Ryan hasn’t further refined his skills and defense and isn’t playing 20 mins a game.. I think a lot of you folks are sleeping on him.

2018/19 and 2019/20 had decent enough talent if you check out the rosters. Everything has to go right for this bunch to be as talented. ( plenty of unknowns …so it could happen…but that’s far from a given. ) Obviously the 2019/20 season collapsed with the Yurt and Mac season ending injuries.

I like his three and his step back J….obviously based strictly on a short highlight video. Kind of reminded me of Bile. But is he really a 4, as someone wrote, at 6 6 and 200 lbs?

The freshman center at Md, I believe Reese, is a clearly more skilled player than Wahab. By the middle of the year he was playing more minutes than Q. Doubt that changes next yr.

I don't like what happened last year any more than the next Hoya fan, but I couldn't possibly pass up Wahab giving us 13/8/1.5/60%fg in 28mpg - like he did in '20-'21. FWIW. I think Ryan could average 13 pts 8 reb if given starter minutes and I’d like to see his minutes increase. I guess if he were to split time w Q I’d be fine w that
