Before his foot injury, Otto was playing like a man on fire, yet I have seen virtually nothing, here. Our Guy practically willed the warriors to several wins along the way in the play offs. Let's not take our great Hoya for granted.

There’s probably some love for Otto over in the NBA HOYAS thread which is no longer in the HOYAtalk section meaning less people see it now

In my opinion, Otto had been playing some of the best and most inspired basketball of his life before his injuries. Really a glue guy that does the unflashy things that help you win a championship. Hoping he can be ready for Game 1!

Porter, Porter, Porter......
Gave me chills that the fans were chanting that in the NBA finals.

Porter 4 for 5 from 3 so far. As a Celtics fan it is tough watching Otto light the Celtics up making threes. The Celtics seemed to have some interest in acquiring Otto last off season and at points this year, but it never happened. He would be a great depth piece on the current Celtics team.

Well in the end it was a perfect result...Otto plays well...Celts win, I will take that.

I felt like a proud parent watching my favorite player from my days as a student at Georgetown, Otto, drain threes over my favorite player from my days at Oregon, Payton Pritchard. That was super fun. Hopefully we're in for a long series!

Porter, Porter, Porter...... Gave me chills that the fans were chanting that in the NBA finals. So weird, I thought it was the typical "Warriors... Warriors" chant that drones on and on, until the announcers mentioned they were chanting for Porter. Awesome. It's also crazy that on the one 3 he missed, he had about an hour to get his footing and take the shot... too much time I suppose. That said, terrible 4th quarter by the Dubs, Celtics got red hot from 3 and Warriors went ice cold at the worst time, and in today's NBA, even between two top teams, that could mean a 24-point swing. This is the most adversity the Warriors have experienced so far in these playoffs, so I'm excited to see how they respond on Sunday and what adjustments are made (I imagine we'll see some GP2). I thought both teams played (and shot) very well last night. This looks like it could be a really fun series. Go Otto and Go Dubs!

Our Boy is playing with extreme confidence! I think—I hope—he will see more playing time.

24 minutes is ideal for Otto at this point, in terms Of staying healthy. I think he’s being used perfectly.

Fairly quiet night for Otto but his team took care of its business.

Fairly quiet night for Otto but his team took care of its business. Otto was +24 in 15 minutes of play. +/- is a limited stat, but that's still an impressive number. Otto was on the court for most of the stretch where the Warriors blew the game open in the 4th quarter. Even though Otto did not score much, his defense was a significant factor in holding the Celtics to 14 points in the quarter

Quiet night, maybe. However he is consistently knocking down those 3s and, I might add, playing stellar defense and rebounding. What I have seen of Otto in these series is that he may not stuff the stat sheets, but his presence is always felt on the court.
I think Kerr understands and appreciates that, too!

I mean, it helps when your last name is a beer style, but San Francisco Brewing Company has plenty of love for Otto Porter (click on the arrow to the right). http://instagr.am/p/CeT0m9Jpbtr Alongside the Chef Curry IPA, Klay-Day Kolsch, and Draymond's Double IPA. Attachments:
