Have heard he's a heavy Terps lean at this point... That would not be a tolerable result.

I like the fact that he did well against Duke in the tourney and against us. Probably the most accurate gauge of how he will do in a major conference.

His father is a very nice man, who works in some public relations capacity with the Wiz, I believe (he is always around Verizon, shaking hands and posing for pictures.) The dad was actually a good NBA center for a year or two, but suffered from serious injury and health issues, as noted. He actually played in an adult rec league in Rockville 7 or 8 years ago against my team. He was only 37 or 38 but literally labored making it down the court. Despite having been a former NBA guy, he still was gracious to the many former HS benchwarmers on my team..congratulating us on making shots etc. Overall, seems like a great guy and so thrilled to have " Little George" joining little ZO and little Pat on the Hoyas.

This is one crazy, rambling, thread. Perfect for HT in the offseason.

What the heck is the point of that? Its called finding humor in a bad situation. I thought it was pretty funny.

2 of my 3 ALL TIME FAVORITE PLAYERS to ever pick up a basketball. I love it when greatness comes together. Assume you're referring to Hank and MJ?

An incredible shot at any time...to tie the championship game with 5 seconds left...unreal.

Seeing some of those highlight videos of AI still astound me , after all these years. So electrifying...can't think of anyone else his size who could make such an impact on a game.

Hank with the start for Brooklyn, played 30 minutes, 5-11 from the field, 12 pts and 7 rebs. Brooklyn still not good, but Hank is! on edit: Nets have shut down Brook Lopez with 5 games left, so Hank looks slated for a handful of starts and a chance to make an impression. Great great news. I have no doubt he will put up good numbers. Only question...why on earth can't he stick on a roster for a full year. He is the perfect backup center and PF

Excellent news, lets now work in a new system that will showcase the huge talent in our team. That is a great point. Don't want to get into an endless debate about the JT3 "system" here. I I just hope that if Jon has the ability to do in the the Big East, what he has done in JUCO, he will be encouraged to do it for the Hoyas. You may recall that JT certainly opened up the offense quite a bit for AI.

Love this signing and no reason for anyone to be negative about it. We had an open spot, and its extremely late in the recruiting process. No downside, and if B&G and others are right, this guy could be exactly what we've been clamoring for . I'm psyched. Hey..I've found myself a NOVA fan the past week....so I am glad to actually be happy about something Hoya related.

This statement may result in a permanent ban from HT...but I am enjoying Nova's performance, and especially the two DC kids who have overachieved to get here. Great defense, passing, and finishing. Would rather see a Bi East team win the title than anyone else still playing.

You know that while Mulmore was scoring 26 PPG this past season while also averaged 6 APG. You know how hard it is to average 6 APG at any level in college and score at a 26 PPG clip. Kris Dunn averaged 6 APG. I know it's a different level but it tells you a little bit about his game. I think he's exactly the player we need for next season. A player who can get his by getting to the rim and feed others when the offense breaks down. Mulmore is exactly what we need for next year. I hope I am wrong and you are correct that the kid can the player they need. I have seen very little film on the player and in the few things I have seen he seemed to play off the ball most of the time. That doesn't mean he can't play the point or that he can't fill that need for the Hoyas next year. I am sure the staff has studied the kid a great deal if they made him an offer, so lets hope it works out and we end up with a player who can help next year. The way things have been going with guard recruitment, you may not have to worry. Don't forget, he has choices, and has to pick us, as well!

A few obvious thoughts on the Ewing speculation. First, I doubt anyone in their right mind thinks he would be part of a scenario where JT3 is dismissed. It could only happen if JT3 voluntarily left or, as stated was promoted to AD. Second, Patrick is a different candidate than Mullin, in that he has been an NBA assistant coach for several years, and supposedly a good one. He is presently Associate Head Coach under a very good coach, Clifford,at Charlotte. Mullin was in a player personnel role, not coaching, as I recall. (BTW...the jury is still out on Mullin...its only been one year.) Now, whether he is the right person for the role....its pretty hard to know. He has never recruited, which is much more than half of the battle, and has never been a head coach. So you cannot assume he will be great. But would he be a very legit and qualified candidate to consider (again only if JT3 left on his own)..yes i think so.

I must say..watching Carolina, Nova and ND starting not one but two, "true" point guards was interesting to watch and really did create some smooth flowing offense.
