yeah. It is so weird to see Dickie V give up his obvious Big East bias and his love for Big East teams and vote for an ACC team.... Shocking.

Anybody else see the profile of Allen Iverson in GQ this month? They apparently interviewed Gaughan for the profile, and Gaughan says that he used to guard AI in practice, and that he got so good at it that some NBA teams offered him 10 day contracts when AI was coming up on the schedule, but that he wouldn't do that because AI's his buddy. For that, I'll vote for Brendan. Definetly Brendan, when the only reason you are on the team is that your dad is a las vegas casino owner and friends with pops. And somehow you parlayed that into racing trucks.... I just don't believe that.

this hurts... was on the treadmill when i saw it on ESPN. I hope one of them reconsiders, but i doubt it. hard to turn away the money and the possible injury next year. But that is why you get insurance now... anyways. good luck to them.

J-wall has been my favorite player since he started freshman year. He is a true "rudy" underdog story. No respect, yet he has done amazing thing with true will power and hardwork. Great player. And smart enough to be a great coach.

I want to give a deep heart felt thanks to the players that put there heart and soul in to the team this year. Since i started as a undergraduate in 1994, I don't think I have been more proud of any other team. They made an incredible run, and for the first time we get to hang new banners in the phone booth. Regular Season Champs. BET tournament, and final four. Who would have thought this a short three years ago, getting a little nationally fanfared recruiting class and a untested coach in a power conference.
I just made it back to my place in DC after a long drive back from atlanta. It was an amazing experience. Even though Atlanta is a second home to me there (having just moved up from there after living there three years), i cannot remember it being more beutiful and it was a great host. Except for being around a lot of buckeye fans in section 220, it was a great experience. The students in the lower bowl were amazing, you could here them all the way across the stadium. Thanks to hoya blue, the students, and everyone associated with the team. It will be a long time before i forget this experience.
HOYA SAXA!!!!

Considering its a rag anyways...yes. Unlike, say, that fish wrapping paper aka the Washington Times? P! U! WT is general is a horrible paper (weird owners and stranger politics.. but that is a whole 'nother forum) But in regards to hoyas coverage, during the lean times, this was the only paper that covered the hoyas. Barker Davis did good pieces and actually wrote articles before and after each game, while in the hoyas at times all we would get is an AP piece. I read that article today, and was so annoyed. Any lexis-nexus search 25 years from now, will bring up his reference about how we were given that game by the refs..... (ignoring the fact that in the next game Shaw basically was trying to give the game to UNC) -M
