So who've been your favorite end-of-the-benchers on the Hoyas?

I saw Chip Sims at the big east final. Anyone know what he's up to or if there is any chance he'll be back as an assistant.
Favorite end of bench player has to be Gharun Hester.

Kenny Izzo.
Reasons: 1. His AIM screenname references him being a lottery pick. 2. Between his junior and senior year he told a member of Hoya Blue that he was going to start on the 2006-2007 team - entire conversation happened at the bar at the Tombs. 3. He wa introduced to Bruce Springstein music at midnight madness.

Tay Spann
Reason: There are stairs going up to the Leavey Center between Reiss and Henle. There is thick black railing in the middle of them. Tay Spann does not choose a side to walk up: instead, he straddles the railing and walks up in the center.

Best quote in a Hoya Bball program: "Brendan Gaughn races trucks in the offseason." Gaughn = Pimp = NASCAR = Casinos = Pops = Best

G. Hester all the way; he was my host when I visited for Pre-frosh weekend. Great guy and a great shot to put the dagger in UVa!!!

Anybody else see the profile of Allen Iverson in GQ this month? They apparently interviewed Gaughan for the profile, and Gaughan says that he used to guard AI in practice, and that he got so good at it that some NBA teams offered him 10 day contracts when AI was coming up on the schedule, but that he wouldn't do that because AI's his buddy. For that, I'll vote for Brendan. EDIT: I don't mean to say that I'd vote for him because I actually think he's been offered contracts, but for having the hubris/ability to laugh at himself to make the claim to GQ.

For some reason, I don't think the stuff I sure JT2 allowed him to get away with in practice would be allowed in a real game.
