Believe III is closely monitoring Angelo Chol as well.
Two out of four in a group of Lawson, Christmas, Hopkins, and Chol would be crazy considering what we'll already have. Seems like the Hoyas have a real shot to make that happen too.

Should add that I've never seen Abraham play so have no idea where he fits in - but my guess would be 10th man.

I think Monroe is going pro. As a result, this is the starting line-up I see:
1) Wright 2) Clark 3) Freeman 4) Sims 5) Vaughn
I don't see III leaving the 3-guard lineup, and wouldn't argue that he should as when those three were clicking we were one of the best teams in the country. Hollis is the sixth man, doesn't have the size to start at the four. Think Jerelle and Vee will see minutes - but they will diminish as the season goes on. Think Markel and Nate are the natural seventh and eighth men, because from what I've seen they are already better players than Jerelle and Vee.
Need a big jump from Sims this summer.

Still think Jordan Goodman has the most upside of all of our current commits. Wouldn't be surprised if he blows up this summer with DC Assault running with Quinn Cook.
Here is some more footage of him. His highlights start at the 4:30 mark. Most 6'8 sophomores can't do this stuff (handle, finish with both hands, bomb 3's, etc.).

My guess is that Quinn Cook could call any coach in America up and commit at this point. He is that good. I know that Ty has an offer, but I doubt it is at the expense of Quinn Cook.
I'm hoping we get Ty, Rakeem, Hopkins and Cook. That class would be absurd.

I'm not sure how strong the "we had the opportunity to offer him before and didn't" argument holds up here. At the time, we were in play for a number of arguably more highly regarded wing players in the Classes of 2009 and 2010. We struck out with all of them, and ended up with Jerelle Benimon and Vee Sanford. My guess is we would have taken Spurlock over both of them, the staff just didn't think we'd keep coming up on the short end of the stick.

I'd take him in a second. He didn't set the world on fire as a freshman but he is long and skilled and could be very effective in the Georgetown system (esp. after a year acclimating to the system as a transfer). I hope his interest gets relayed to the staff quickly.
A 1-2-3 of Markel, Hollis, and Spurlock in a couple of years would be really good.

Not saying that he will be committing to the Hoyas at 7pm, but I find it hard to believe that he will be committing to the Hoosiers at 7pm given that he has never visited Bloomington.

Braswell was really good this year. If he decides to transfer, he'll have many options. I remember reading that he and his family were not too pleased with how he was treated by our program (I believe in the Wash Post), so think it would be a long shot.

There are some programs out there where, if Moses was to chose to attend over GU, I would get it. We have had some recent struggles developing unskilled, athletic big men (see: Macklin, Sims) that I could see being used against us in a recruting war.
But Indiana?!?! Umm, no. If he ends up there -- he is getting bad advice, and I will feel terrible for the kid.

Wouldn't be so quick to bash enj, given that Boncore also is the advisor to Jordan Goodman and his father. A quick google search reveals that information. Dealing with shady handlers is just part of the game these days, even for Georgetown.
Let's just chill out and see what Moses, and Boncore, have to say this weekend.

We've actually played matchup zone in games all year - and at times very well. From what I've seen today, there is no doubt that we should play matchup zone instead of man tomorrow from the beginning. The key will be making shots so that USF is forced to actually execute a half court zone offense - which they apparently struggle with mightily.

This sounds like a steal this late in the process. Never seen him play live - but we could use his length and athleticsm on the wing from the clips I've seen.
Shows how far we've come under III that we are now questioning taking commitments from Top 100 players. Hope we can make this (and Abraham) happen.

While I agree that the ship has likely sailed - let's please try not to bash the kid. JTIII recruited him for a long time and clearly believes he is a player that could help our program. My guess is no one on this board personally knows the kid well enough to attack his character, and it would be ridiculous to hate a kid just for choosing another program after giving ours a serious look.
While it is not guaranteed, there is definitely a chance that we will have an additional scholarship if Greg leaves, and we may be looking for another player when/if Roscoe returns to the market...
