I'm not saying you're makin' it up. I believe you. I just hope it doesn't happen!

“I don’t have any clue what he does or how financially he benefits from this,” Boeheim said. “I don’t know. But he’s just there. He’s around. He knows all the pro guys, their agents, the sneaker people, the coaches, general managers, media people. There’s no one he doesn’t know.”

Calipari was Brown's bag man back then, so some things never change ;D

No, I meant that you weren't making up WWW trying to get involved with Lance, but I see my mistake.

Lance may still end up at Gtown. But if Wes is pimping, Hoya fans should not count on it.

Balla, where have you been, man? I can hardly "justify" my procrastination on this talkboard without you...

Balla, where have you been, man? I can hardly "justify" my procrastination on this talkboard without you... Finish your assignment young fella The thing is that guys like Calipari and Wes are always a step or two ahead of the NCAA, so I doubt they get caught. It took a slip-up for Calipari to get caught at Umass, and it took awhile for Larry Brown to get busted at UCLA and Kansas for cheating. Funny how these guys have such great media persona that these things get overlooked

posted by ESPNinsider....any insight on this? "Lance Stephenson, ranked No. 4 overall in the ESPN 100, has narrowed his choices to Southern California, UCLA and Kansas, his father, Lance Sr., told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. The 6-foot-5 combination guard also had interest from Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, Louisville, Arkansas, Memphis and Seton Hall," updated for link: www.nwanews.com/adg/Sports/227208/

I wasnt thinking he was a lock to come to gtown or that gtown had no chance either because of WWW. Other then considering what the guys in the know say (Balla, Id, etc.) i think its best if we all just report whats said but not necessarily draw any conclusions. on second though, it summer!! what else do we have to do??!!

Here's a Zagsblog on Lance: njmg.typepad.com/zagsblog/2008/05/lance-down-to-3.htmlAccording to an article in an Arkansas newspaper, it claims he's down to three -- USC, UCLA and Kansas. I think that's probably untrue, given no quotes and how easily things are misinterpreted. Most interesting is how his coach wants a program that is top notch but is secluded from distracting media hype so he can concentrate on basketball. Hmmm, what program is that like?

It may be a little late in the game for Stephenson to credibly shun the limelight. Just sayin'.

Hah right since USC has had no media attention lately.
