I'm liking Lubick so far, but I'm questioning why he bothers to take threes at all during games. He needs to work on his shot, obviously, and more importantly we have other guys who do that. He needs to focus on the frontcourt, because that's where we need the help. Lubick must be a better shooter in practice than people give him credit for. Sitting directly behind the bench today I saw both Chris and Austin telling him to shoot the three while open

Duren and Floyd. The Hoyas have had three first round picks at guard, and two of them played together for two years. They were exquisite together.
That said, I am beginning to think that Jason Clark has the potential to have a nice NBA career.

I have obsessed over this rivalry for more than 30 years and this is the first time I have ever heard anyone suggest a religious aspect.

Want some more bad news going to Fordham? Georgetown has not won in the Bronx since 1974, or when Kevin Kelly was in 8th grade. It has now lost 11 straight in the month of October in the last three years. Eight turnovers and a blocked punt in its last three games. That game at Fordham was the highlight of my one year Hoya football career. My highlight play was when I knocked the ball lose from the Fordham defender who had just intercepted our pass and recovered on the Rams' fifteen. We scored on the next play. The coaches' enthusiasm for my play was terminated when they reviewed the film and saw that the interception was caused by the defensive end opposite me who I had inconveniently neglected to block. Fordham had a pretty big crowd for that game as they were honoring Vince Lombardi's widow.

www.therecruitscoop.com/recruits-breakdown-midnight-madness-2010Recruits discuss their MM visits: Dakari Johnson ’14 of New York – Georgetown – It was a good experience and good atmosphere. I got to hang out on campus, watch the activities, meet the players and meet the other recruits. Tanveer Bhullar ’13 of Canada – Georgetown – The visit to Georgetown was great. We (my brother Sim and I) got to tour their campus and saw how new some of the buildings were and how much stuff they have in one place. Their gym was sort of old but they’re building a new facility and practice court. We met with the coaching staff and talked to them. We saw a bit of their practice, as well. Austin Colbert ’13 of New Jersey – Georgetown – It was a great experience getting invited to a fun event. To cap it off we had a tour of the campus. How is this not being talked about?!?!? Recruits are being sold on a new facility?? I know they've been doing it for decades with football and the MSF but I expect better from basketball This is completely consistent with what large donors have been told. I think an announcement is imminent.

While I too was frustrated by his lack of offense, Anthony deserves real credit for not ever letting his offensive problems impact his defense. I believe that he was one of the Hoyas most underated quality defenders.

Feel like I am dealing with the airlines, the add on fees, $15 processing fee plus another $3 fee I agree. The $15 shipping and handling fee has been standard for a while, but the $3 fee that shows up without warning after you have submitted your credit card is both aggravating and just plain wrong.

Maybe HS could use foursquare to figure out where he should be on defense.

Asked why Kentucky did not score for the first 11 minutes of the second half in the national semifinal game, Kentucky coach Joe B. Hall responded "extra-cerrestrial forces."

Based on a very recent conversation with the athletic department, I beleive that a lead donor will be announced this fall and that everyone who complains about the lack of a practice facility will have the opportunity to give generously. Chris, that's wonderful... ... but even with your generally great sources, the source here is ultimately the University, who finds ways to screw everything up. So I'm in show-me mode. Certainly skepticism in this regard is warranted, but I have been pushing on this issue for 5 years, and this is the first time I have been told anything that is apparently definitive.

I think our depth at the 1-2-3 is sick. I certainly can't remember a Hoya team that was deeper at those positions. I'm not quite ready to annoint Austin and Chris among the *all-time* greats, but I agree they are very good. If Austin has a season as good or better than last season, then I'm willing to consider him as a top ten Hoya. Seriously. Especially if he becomes an All American and if he wins (or is in strong contention) for BE Player of the Year. Dosn't matter to me if he doesn't play great defense. I'm still trying to figure out if he is the first returning Hoya guard (since my time following the team) who was on an All Big East Team for the previous season. I know Iverson was not First Team Big East his freshmen year but maybe he was on the second team. I'm not sure if Kevin Braswell made any Big East Team his junior season. Is there anyone else to consider? Joey Brown? Charles Smith was on the second team as a Junior and the first team as a senior. Iverson was second team as a freshman and first team as a soph. Kevin Braswell was 2nd team as a junior and third team as a senior.

Topics: How will Health Care Reform affect Greg Monroe's decision? Facilities: how about some of those stimulus dollars for an on-campus arena. How can Wolf Blitzer get better seats at MCI? Wolf Blitzer can get better seats by calling it Verizon.
