Best news in weeks. The guys have no reason (that I see) to lie about this. Their comments show that they have thought about this intelligently as well.

Wow.
You'd also think that there would be some effect on each other -- if one comes back, you'd think the chances of the other returning are greater, right?

Best news I've heard in a long time.
I have to keep telling myself not to get my hopes too high, though!

This is great news. Also, Jeff's last quote about getting a degree makes me pround to call him a Hoya!
Holy crap, if these guys BOTH stay . . . too excited to even think about it . . .

Credit goes to a buddy for forwarding the article to me -- I believe he's a longtime reader but not a frequent poster . . . .

Very nice to see, but never trust athletes with percentages like this- Michael Jordan and Roger Clemens have had some funny ideas about what it means to be 99% retired.

I'm cautiously optomistic, but the prospect of this happening is making me shiver

I think this is very positive not just because of the numbers I mean afterall hibbert's numbers aren't very reassuring but because of what they're talking about besides their chances: the fact that the college experience is only here for 4 years, the fact that green thinks he has a lot to work on before being ready for the pros. Hibbert thinking about his potential to be drafted top 3 next year rather than 8-14 this year. All really positive that points to them more than likely coming back. Amazing news and would be thrilled to have them back to make a run at the national championship!

Love it. I am just really surprised that, right now, Green is more set on coming back than Hibbert.

After all of his quotes this past season, I was a little surprised to see Roy gauge his chances as 50-50. Not that I blame him, he must be getting some pretty solid assessments from the NBA guys (?)
Green on the other hand. I guess it wasn't as surprising as the Nikita signing, but 70-30 towards coming back is startling to say the least.

Lindsey Czarniak (sp?) of local Channel 4 interviewed both today and both were, I thought, very non-committal.

Even though I want to guard from being overly disappointed if one/both jump, I couldn't help but smile when I read this. After the doom and gloom threads from the past few weeks (with one 16 page exception), this is a great jolt. The one thing I would have rather read (other than 100% return from both) would be if Jeff had said, "The NBA is only 10-15 years, while Georgetown is forever." I won't nitpick though.
