I am in the camp that thinks that Green or Hibbs decision to stay WOULD would sway the other to stay. For one, both Hibbs and Green have an appreciation for Hoya history. I think both these guys understand that together they can accomplish something very, very special and that an NCAA Championship would very likely be the highlight of their respective basketball careers.
Just ask Patrick!!

Just ask Patrick!! One of them leaving changes the formula. Jeff + Roy Back =(speculative) preseason favorites Jeff or Roy back = not necessarily the same. If I was either of them, I'd come back ONLY if the other one was too

Paging Othmar Winkler -- Dr. Winkler - please report to the Hoya Talk Board - and pack your lunch. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about is way too old.

I will now beat Brooks Berringer to the punch
"I believe every Hoya should turn Pro because next year they will go in the 150th round should they mistakenly return".
"Jeff Green will go no higher then 190th if he returns to school and Hibbert will be an undrafted player forced to join the circus as a playful clown giraffe lookalike".
"Remember when Tom Lang and Kayode Vann passed up their chance to go into the Draft--look what happened to them Jeff and Roy--leave ASAP".
Saved you time Brooks.

Don't forget the inevitable and catastrophic injury that might even knock Hibbert out of the lottery for the clown-giraffe job.

Andy Katz is reporting today that Jeff and Roy will likely not make any announcement until the June 18 deadline, citing JTIII as his source. The interesting thing is that coach is saying that they are not really feeling out their draft prospects, as they are both confident that they are lottery selections. Instead, they are going through this process to use the extra time to decide on how much they like the college life. insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=2846362&searchName=katz_andyJeff/Roy, if you're listening: I wouldn't trade any of my four years on the hilltop for anything. I've been gone for nearly 13 years now, and I remember it like it was yesterday. You may not realize it now, but your college years are the best of your life. You may say to yourself that you can always come back for a degree, and to a certain extent, that is likely true, but college is about a lot more than a piece of paper.

yeah can i get a pm as well. Jeff seems to be out enjoying college life he was hanging out at the relay for life for hours with Jwall. Jeff was dancing and talking to people and generlally being whoshipped. Hopefully it's things like this that will remind him how great college is and convince him to come back. As weird as it sounds I'm a lot more confident in Jeff coming back now than I am of roy's return which defiently wouldn't have been the case at the begining of the year or the end of the season. I've seen Jeff around campus enjoying life a lot more than i've seen roy. I think it's in roy's best interest to stay one more year, but I'm less sure of him than I am of Jeff.
