I agree, they got full of themselves after that dunk and got punched in the mouth. Disappointing.

Hey Cincy, you just went 14-22 from three and lost by double digits. Might want to work on D.

Hey Cincy, you just went 14-22 from three and lost by double digits. Might want to work on D. lets be good sports. their tallest guy was 6-9 and fouled out with 13 minutes left. they just were undersized but i thot they shot amazingly well and kept it too close for my comfort until the last 30 secs.

I didn't get to watch the game, but it looks like we finally took advantage of Roy's height and it paid off. Seems like he had a monster game.

Giga, I was going to say the same thing. Shooting 48.9% from the field and 56% (yahoo had 14-25, but at one point they were 14-20) from 3 and 87.5% from the FT line, yet lose by 15!!! Also, yahoo had the Hoyas at 80% from the line.

clearly hibbert had a massize height advantage this game. ewing had a very good day offenseively and good hustle defensively. still a bit edgy on silly fouls here and there. summers had an off day but good hustle. green and wallace solid days. did we set some record today for fewest turnovers in a game???

Another strong win. I only listened here, so I don't know how many of the three's Cincy made were bad defense and how much was that they were just in the zone. As Rich said.....you would have a hard time shooting that well with no one guarding you. I think it speaks very well that we were able to overcome a great shooting performance by Cincy to win this one by 15. I know it was much closer than that in spots, but I didn't get any feeling that we were going to lose this one. Great to see Roy take advantage of his size in this game. Too often, the smaller teams have held him in check.....either Cincy didn't watch those game tapes or the team has figured something out. I'm liking that we are getting players to step up in games where the other team makes a run at us. I especially like that it has been more than one player doing it.....JW, Jeff, DaJuan and especially Roy today have really made some statements in recent games. Let's keep the momentum rolling right into the Garden on Thursday.

listened to the game on radio...seemed like we put the ball in the paint and dominated at the beg. of the 2nd? Finally nice to hear that. Also nice to see our 2 starts playing a helluva game and we are now on a roll..yea we have beaten some scrubs of late, but we have beaten the teams that we have had to beat of late, so lets keep it up, it all starts to get tricky in feb.

This was the closest blowout I've ever seen. We dominated most every facet of the game and somehow they managed to keep the score respectable. From the stands, it felt like they never missed from 3... did somebody enter the wrong code on NBA Jam to make them on fire for the entire game??

Another good effort by the Hoyas -- to no surprise. The boys have played exactly one poor game in the last month and a half. I kind of hope we remain unranked. I like being the national title contender no one talks about.

Couldn't have been that, because if they had access to NBA Jam codes then we clearly would have seen some full court, triple-flip dunks. And the ball/net never caught fire after three straight made shots. Bunk theory.

Last two games we have been shakey with the 3 FG defense - I don't know if these teams have gotten lucky or we have to step up this facet of the game. Cincy had Sykes on fire from the 3, but he is 6'9", so he would be hard for the guards to defend. Fortunately, he was gone about midway through the 2nd half, after his coach left him in with four fouls.
