We are on quite a roll.
Braswell committed to the Hoyas this evening. The article on Scout said that he wanted to stay close to home and that Broadhus did a great job recruiting him.

This is huge!
What a three days. First Chris Wright. Then Omar Wattad. Now a local, top ranked, athletic big man who has a bunch of scoring skills (both face up and post up from what I've heard). Most services have Chris in their Top 20 -- so we're talking another McD AA - caliber player.
Those St. John's-DeMatha games just got EVEN more interesting.

HUGE commit. HUGE.
Who from Hoya Blue will take the credit for this one? Probably Freeman and Wright oughta.

Why is the scholarship chart so woefully out of date?

I knew Braswell was coming thru my sources, but didn't know about Clark. I had actually forgotten about him with all the other recruits filing in. This is truly amazing by Broadus and Thompson!

Best part of Braswell coming is that he will be great in the "Green position". There are a lot of similarities there and Chris is supposed to be a great player facing the basket who can do a lot without scoring a lot (like Jeff). All 3 of the most recent DC commits have been great, not just because they're local studs but because they all will be great in Coach Thompson's O.
(edit)BTW, let's not get ahead of ourselves yet with Clark. Hopefully that happens as he's another top local player, but until then its important to remember that it's just a rumor (though that site did nail the Braswell thing, so it would seem to have some cred).

We haven't nabbed him yet, he hasn't committed. The rumors are that he wants to be a Hoya though, but CLARK HAS NOT COMMITTED.... yet. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
