Real conversation. Father: "I'm flying in tomorrow morning, do you want to meet at Clyde's for brunch" Son: "Are you kidding, there are 20 of us going over to Verizon at 10 a.m. to get good seats in the student section" I have never been prouder. That's classic, Chris.

Outside of Illinois has III's Hoya teams ever been swept in these home and home series?

Nope. Other than that series with Illinois, the only other sweep has been Temple, and III's Hoyas can only be blamed for the back end of that one.

Standard with most teams we play they wonder what is a hoya? Funny to see on their board they think it is this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoya . Pretty funny. They think Hoyas are evergreen climbing vines or shrubs shaped like five-pointed stars of varying shape, size, length, texture, and color? Proof positive what wikipedia research will get you if you don't know what to look for.

Vegas just opened us up as 4.5 point favorites. Line has already moved to Georgetown -5. Line has jumped to -6.5. Lots of Hoya love out there today...

Clark and Jim Nance (?) in tuxedoes. Refs came out (sorry, don't know them) and shook hands with three older-looking coach types on the Memphis bench, including one gray big-haired slicked back guy with black framed glasses. Louis Cipher, no doubt. One of the other refs pointed at him in greeting and smiled. Don't like seeing so much recognition by the refs for the opponent"s bench.
Go Hoyas.

Louis also has an unlit cigar and trench coat. He just left.
