Aminu is such a beast on the offensive glass.

Tim within 1 assist of matching Wahab's total last year.

Mutombuo rebounds just like his dad did in college...with his hands in front of his forehead. Not his best skill.

Our rebounding is not good today. Not many missed shots to rebound...57% from 2 and 64% from 3.

Hopefully it is a great experience for that recruit Jackson that is at the game.

We're long overdue for some alley oops. Go frosh. AFter watching Akinjo refuse to throw an oop to Mac, it was great to see the highest flying Hoya pass it to his teammate for the slam.

How about we not put our worst defender (Rice) against their best player?

If he can’t defend and you can’t throw it in to him than why is he on the floor? Our guards haven't attempted one feed of the post. Last game Beard had two great post feeds...one for an easy Mutombo slam and one missed by Tim. He definitely has this skill.

Oh my goodness.....with a Mutombo blocking a shot, and the Hoyas pushing pace while running and gunning, and having an offensive explosion....it took me back to 1990.
We haven't had that type of offensive explosion driven by points in transition for too, too long.

Sienna is in disarray. We need to be poised and dominate them for 40 minutes...refusing to play them at their level.

Don has played well. That utilization needs to bump up from 13%vto 15-18%. Don never seems to force any of his offense, he lets it come to him in the flow of the game. If the Hoyas space the floor and move the ball the way the staff is asking them to, he will get his share of shots. I really like him as a player, but I don't think he is a guy who is comfortable taking his defender off the dribble or trying to create his own offense on a regular basis. He is a really important piece for this team and he is at his best when he plays within himself. We need more from Don. He is the senior captain. He can’t be a wallflower.

It was very interesting seeing Wahab nailed to the bench at the end of Maryland’s loss to George Mason. Apparently, that is wonderful for his development. 😂

For me, this year is all about developing the team for next year. We are so inexperienced and our conference opponents are super-experienced in part due to additional eligibility resulting from Covid. I would spread the minutes even beyond what is considered best practice. Development, development, development….
