We're a top 10 basketball team, we should go 6-2.

After Duke...
Austin has 977 points Chris has 777 points Greg has 696 points.
Austin stands a decent chance of hitting 1000 against USF and has a very good chance of getting there on the upcoming 2 game homestand.

K State did not hold on, so Kansas will be #1 on Monday. I think the Hoyas will be #9.

Benniman. I was so excited I messed up his first name! And now you're still so excited that you messed up his last!

Besides shooting 72% as a team, our starters shot 78% today. 78% Ha.

Boom goes the dynamite! Awesome win today, washing away the gross taste of earlier this week. Let's keep the momentum up and rip off a few in a row!

The President lives in Washington D.C., he should clearly be rooting for the Hoyas.

redskin - in honor of lic's impending 10000th post I thought it would be appropriate to have a thread with no point. plus, we can all pad our post totals;-) if you do feel an overwhelming need to have a "point" in a thread, we can turn this into a poll on what I should do tomorrow about my evening classes. Both Constitutional Law (6-8) and Trusts & Estates (8-10) conflict with the game. Unfortunately, due to other scheduled absences like skiing in UT and drinking with PR in San Juan, I can not skip classes (law school takes this far more seriously than GU undergrad) and so I have to think about how to work around the classes. Should I ... A - Watch online in class? I have done this already this semester without being "caught" but I have a real fear of yelling out "Take THAT Magoo" and even though we are covering the 1st amendment I don't think this will fly in class. It does not help that, like all law professors, my prof looks a little like Mr. Magoo as well. B - DVR it, wear a big sign that says "DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT COLLEGE BASKETBALL, DON'T EVEN LOOK AT ME or WINK or ANYTHING" and get my tail home asap to watch the tape delayed version C - Leave the early class early and get to the late class late, drinking at some near-campus bar in between and watching it live D - Kiss goodbye the $7500 I have invested in these two classes and drive to 'cuse, disguise myself in all orange, scalp my way into the Carrier Dumb and unveil some sort of homage to JahidiHoya or maybe just a grey/blue t-shirt with "I BEAT CITRUS FRUIT" Thoughts, or preferably, non-sensical goading responses... Definitely A. This has been my answer to Big East tournament issues the last couple years.

They don't need to get rid of fan voting. Fan voting is great, the game should be about who the fans want to see. It also doesn't determine the composition of the team, the other 7 players are chosen by the coaches, players don't get left out because of fan voting unless they weren't a clear all-star in the first place. What they SHOULD do is only make fan ballots available at game venues, rather than online. This would create a more educated fan vote, and reward fans who make it out to the stadium more often. It would also solve the Rockets/China problem.

It sucks that Monroe is awful and the whole team is lazy. We'll probably never beat a ranked team this year.... Oh wait, we've beaten four of them, and have yet to lose a game by more than 4 points. Maybe we'll be ok. (rolling eyes)

Sounds more like well coached than lucky, as much as it pains me to say it.

UNC has been overrated all season. Ed Davis is a nice complementary piece, not a star, their guards are mediocre for UNC and the only star talent is very, very young. This.

For what it's worth, Vegas has the Hoyas ranked 7th most likely to win it all.
