Sims bouncepass from the FT line to Monroe on the baseline with Monroe making a very nice post move to score deserves honorable mention. You beat me to it! Sims has good court vision for a big man!

Kudos to the two guys at the bar leading the We Are Georgetown chant! We were highly out numbered but the Hoya faithful did step up.

THe other thing that struck me last night was how quickly this team is picking up JT3's coaching.... last night they did not look like they were thinking about every pass, every drive, every decision. THey just made them as a team and BOOM... they were on it. In earlier games, it looked like we were telegraphing our passes, especially the back door cut variety. Guys were thinking to much, not just reacting. The better we get at this, the faster we will play... whether in half court or transition. If you go back and look at the tape of that big DUKE game a couple/three years ago, the team executed EVERYTHING at light speed. Duke had no chance. That is what was starting to happen last night. There is NO better college coach in America. JT3 is the man... just as his father was. Different style, different hoops philosophy, same commitment to detail and to excellence. Same kind of results! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Great post. I couldn't agree with you more!

I will be in Manhattan tomorrow. Any suggestioins of bars that definitely will carry the game? I'm staying around 48th and 8th and don't know my way too well.

I thought the game was at the Pavilion. Has it been changed to the Wachovia Center. I have 3 tickets 5 rows off.

I was wondering what the board thinks in terms of who will be our statistical leaders this year? Here are my picks: Minutes Per Game - DaJuan Summers Points Per Game - Austin Freeman Rebounds Per Game - Greg Monroe Assists Per Game - Chris Wright Assist/Turnover Ratio - Jessie Sapp Steals Per Game - Chris Wright Blocks Per Game - Greg Monroe Field Goal % - Austin Freeman Free Throw % - Austin Freeman 3 Point % - Chris Wright *The only change I'd make is that I don't think Austin will be the Pts./game leader. I think that's better fitted for Dajuan or Jesse!

Does anybody know when or if the MASN Hoya schedule will be released. Living in Lancaster, PA and having MASN and MASN2 is huge for this loyal Hoya supporter! Love the schedule!

I agree hthoya72!! It was great to see TC out there. He deserves the minutes and our play doesn't lapse when he's in the game unlike Wallace when his shooting is cold! With that being said, I hope what Wallace brought to the table last evening is just an appetizer of what lies ahead!
