Targeted crime, but not a hate crime.
Anger directed at the TV station not white people.

Love this announcement, kind of surprise his family didn't feel UVA fit the mold of a strong basketball and academic school as well. Not complaining just surprised. UVA never offered.... Gotcha, thanks for the clarification

"My family, mostly my parents, we were trying to figure out if I should go to a school that's mostly academics or mostly basketball," Mosely said. "When Georgetown came in, it was a perfect fit. It was a perfect balance between basketball and academics." There really is a niche for these types of guys -- usually Duke, Stanford and one or two others would be the destination of choice, but there's no reason this can't be a real Georgetown strength. Good job staff, and welcome, JM! Love this announcement, kind of surprise his family didn't feel UVA fit the mold of a strong basketball and academic school as well. Not complaining just surprised.

Anyone know more about this? bit.ly/gutrackIn late April, the University received reports of misconduct involving its men’s track team. The University immediately initiated an investigation into those reports and the climate on the team. That investigation is ongoing and has included dozens of interviews with coaches, current and former members of the track program and others with knowledge of the climate around the track program. Although not every student-athlete engaged in misconduct, the reported behavior is deeply concerning, inconsistent with the values of the University, and does not meet the expectations Georgetown has set for members of its community and for its student-athletes.

It's clear you're never going to believe anything a white cop says, so why even bother. You're so biased it isn't even funny. Nah - they just know the whole system is corrupt and that evidence/facts to the contrary are just party of a vast conspiracy. Now the tea partiers, they're the real tin foil hatters... For a conservative that's a pretty liberal use of the word facts

To someone truly on the left, it seems ludicrous to hear that the other networks are "left-leaning." They don't challenge corporate power or Wall Street. They fill their news with celebrity gossip and other distractions. They may favor the Democratic party's viewpoint, but the Democratic party stopped being a party of the left with Bill Clinton. America has no left.... left. And good for Todd Rutherford for holding his ground against Fox. Loved how O'Reilly said he wasn't going to attack him and then wouldn't let him finish a sentence. Other news outlets don't lean to the left? Really? Take that Ted CruzCan you imagine the outrage if there was a similar photo involving Obama, or even a Democrat senator (assuming such a photo would even make it past an editor and out on to the wire)? That photo is in extremely poor taste

Dog comment was uncalled for but If you think that's racism police brutality must make your blood boil, or systemic discrimination in hiring and promotion, or politicians using racist languages, or the uneven incarceration rate and punishment lengths for minorities vs whites, or states flying the flag of a traitor nation whose economy was based on enslaving people, or the presidents wife being called his baby momma on TV by a news organization.
In fact I'd love for you to point out to me some of the posts where you expressed outrage at these events.

Oh, so you mean like most racist, cowardly POS's, he didn't have the balls to say anything openly racist in front of black people that might've knocked some sense into him that means the jury is still out despite the overwhelming tidal wave of evidence - including his own words - that this was a hate crime? Right. Believe what you want, I honestly couldn't care less. My days of trying to talk reasonably with white folks about race in this country are over. And the Algonquin Round Table loses a member. Seriously, you're done talking with white people? Sounds racist from here.... Except he said his days of talking about race with white people are over. PSA for people in the majority crying racism sexism or whatever to a minority is usually tone deaf. Think about it this way if someone who was poor told you they were in danger of losing their house because of financial difficulties would you respond I hear you, last week my wife and I traded in the 7 series for the 5 series to make ends meet?

Just to be clear you've expressed no condemnation at Trump's comments, just at Hilary for her disgust at these comments:
When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
Okay then....

Personally I can't stand Hilary but she is right it's that exact rhetoric of public racism that leads to terrorist behaviors. I have no idea if the shooter was insane but he was a racist.
But still unclear how on a thread on guns in churches my post was a deflection. I'm posting about the topic.

How is my post a deflection? My post is actually on topic, while you seem angry that a terrible person making racist comments was called out for it.

There is evidence now that both the Amtrak train and a septa train where both hit by projectiles in nearly the same time and place moments before the crash. There is a lot more to this story.

Cable news is all garbage. The need to "report" 24 hours a day has destroyed any attempt at providing journalism.

Why can't he come to a big east school? It's my understanding it's not a transfer when you graduate from college and enroll in a post graduate program.
